The Steam Client Beta has been updated with the following changes: General Fixed showing a black screen at startup if the startup location was set to something prohibited by Family View. Removed incorrect date display on some DLC hovers. Fixed the tops of some context menus not being interactable if they overlap the title bar. Big Picture Mode Fixed an issue with displaying SSIDs in internet settings for some SSIDs containing non-alphanumeric characters.

    I’ve been having issues with the steam overlay crashing my game periodically. Very frustrating and I hope they resolve it soon!

      Is your Steam overlay crashing your games more broadly, or is it a specific game that’s suffering this effect? Id it’s the latter, it’s more likely the developer will have to step int o fix the issue.

        Pretty much every game has a chance to blow up, but specifically Hunt: Showdown is the one I have noticed the most.
