Hm, sounds like the opening paragraph to a mod, we should call it “better than armadillo’s” and essentially fork Minecraft into the game we think it should be.
Oh, what’s that? Modders did that with wolves 10 years ago… oh, I’m old.

Here she is as a tiny sleepy kitty
Yeah, Reddit will actually need to kill itself, which, with how it’s being run, isn’t out of the question. Or, something no one else has thought of has to do something better. I don’t know that you can have essentially a Reddit clone ever have the user base for a lot of those niche communities to exist. Because they already do.
It’s hard for me to use Lemmy largely due to this. Unfortunately the communities I used Reddit for, really don’t exist anywhere else, so I still use Reddit, granted, in browser, and I no longer comment or engage with anything. But, it is the only place to get news and discourse for some of the things I like.
I sometimes consider attempting to create a more niche community here occasionally, but, to what end? I don’t have the sources or inside knowledge for some things. Nor do I have time for it realistically. Sad really, I’d like Reddit to die as much as any of us. But, I don’t see it happening. I do like it better here though in terms of actual engagement, when it happens.
Oh, you struck a nerve with KSP :( I still check weekly to see if they’re even to where they should have launched from, answer: no. I suppose, I did have my fair share of heartbreaks. There have just been years, like ‘14, where it was hard to even find the diamonds in the rough I suppose.
Preaching to the choir brother. Beats me
Interesting. I’ll have to dive deeper. Thanks!
What does gamergater mean? I’m familiar with gate keeping but I don’t know that I’ve heard it like this.
“Might not be a good year for games.” Idk, we’ve already had the surprise with palworld, which, while it didn’t really grab me, was a breath of fresh air for people. Helldivers slaps. I think the key is not to buy into hype, and play actually good games. People like to say 23 was a bad year too, but, I’d argue that stinkers like gollum just got more coverage and were on top of people’s minds. Not to excuse it at all, but, I played a lot of really good games last year.
Evolved from rom hacks to full fan games. Pokémon infinite fusion is the best Pokémon experience I’ve ever had.
You’d have no idea what to do with them because you’re not in organized crime. I would go look at Larry Lawton on YouTube. I think he posts a lot but if you go to his earlier posts he talks about his organized crime life. Wild.
Likely Texas, they have a private grid(as far as I last checked) and are prone to rolling blackouts.
What is this from? I got hit hard with nostalgia and can’t quite place it.
Well, I’m not an electrician, but, I work in a similar trade. Generally when customers ask this question the answer is because I had 4 customers before you, and one of them talked the entire time I was trying to work, and another I did a complete renovation of the system. Often times, it makes way more sense to finish what you started than to stay “on schedule”. Which is why there are appointment windows generally. Trust me, all we want to do is go home and your appointment is what’s between me and that goal. We don’t want to take anymore time than we have to.
Ooooo that’s a good episode
Most current? Or, which episode?
I currently have Liam yelling in my ears about the god damn news. What are the odds. I’m shocked to see them referenced.
That’s cool, we’re not a fan of countries that invade sovereign nations.
I agree. And I most definitely understand, you don’t have, not should you expect a right to privacy the second you leave your front door. (Arguably before that too, but that’s neither here nor there.)
I think what bothers me most is, I don’t want, let’s say my walking pattern in a city, monitored(it already is) to then have some camera see that I’m having a “bad day” then in inundated with ads that, “based on my profile, x emotion shows I’ll spend money here.” Idk. It just feels very dystopian, if that reasoning makes sense. Though, it’s sorta like climate change, it’s inevitable and the individual is essentially powerless.
Picked up peglin recently and I’ve gone back for a mech warrior run. Few others get cycled in as well. But those two the most right now.
