I guess it’s self explanatory but I keep seeing all this stuff about how everyone is moving from Reddit to lemmy and I’m wondering if anyone knows if that’s really what’s happening. If you have numbers that’s even better.

    I think it remains to be seen. Typically a small percentage of users generate most of the content. If those generating the content leave, those just looking to lurk won’t have as much good stuff and may stop showing up. It’ll take time for something like that to happen though.

    Also, with Reddit now making moves that are only focused on growing their income, we can bet they will make more and more choices that drive users away. It’s only a matter of time before their pull a Digg v4.
