Yep, I did it once in the late 00s. That was enough. After years it developed an incredibly small leak that I didn’t notice until it ruined the GPU and motherboard. I found it when I rebooted one day and it didn’t come back up. All in ones seem a lot better. I’ve had one of those for ~7 years without an issue.
Honestly it’s still an absolute pain in the ass but it’s come a very long time since those dark ages.
For my last build I bit the bullet and got a leakshield from aquacomputer. It keeps negative pressure in the loop so if there is a leak, it sucks air back into the tubing instead of letting water out.
It works like a charm, it’s just too damn expensive to recommend for non-workatation rigs.
But I can pull 1000w from the wall and still have my system under 30db, so that’s nice.
