    If only using it for reading messages, it’s probably fine, the problem comes when you want to write something. I’ve just read another comment on it here.

    Facebook is in it for information on you too, specifically your behavior, by which I mean how you start a conversation, how you connect to an existing one (per topic and occasion I mean, not just the first time) and generally how do you phrase your words. Are you diplomatic, passive aggressive or something else? How easy it is to convince you? And they will get to know relatively a lot about just how you put together a phrase, or your vocabulary.
    If you don’t believe me, look up graphology. It is about handwriting, but I think it is relevant here too.

    Normally, among people these shouldn’t be a problem, but unfortunately facebook looks at these with a microscope, and on your chats on facebook platforms facebook is inevitably also there.

      I agree, and ideally one must not use any facebook/meta product. I mean more in hostage situations like OPs its a better alternative.

      you can start your move from these services irrespective of others.
