IntelliJ doesn’t come close to the strain Android Studio puts on my devices. I don’t know what the Android plugins are doing, but they’re making my laptop toasty as hell.

On the other hand, I’ve worked with the Eclipse version, and with cobbled together alternatives, and Android Studio easily blows all of them out of the water.
