On the internet, it is common to call a guy a misogynist, but what is the exact meaning of misogynist? Is it 1. A guy who hates women? Or 2. a guy who thinks men are superior. Or 3. A guy who believes in women should follow traditional norms like cooking.
I deleted comments from my previous post and not this one, because people were bringing them for no reason and ignoring this post. I never invalidate anyone’s comments I just asked them about certain scenarios. But people can’t argue well, they try to push the narrative and if someone disagrees with them they downvote. I was defensive because people called me a misogynist for no reason. I never said anything against women.
I’ve already stated my opinion, and you are entitled to yours. All I can say is that I think you should give some thought to how your choices and words may have contributed to the reaction you got, regardless of whether or not you think it was justified.
This type of reaction doesn’t happen to most Lemmy users.
