The other day I was watching a video about the USS Thresher imploding due to extreme pressure… on the merciful side at least its a very very very quick way to go?
Is it though? Is the pressure at that depths enough to kill you instantly, or are you just slowly crushed to death in the dark? In either case, it’s not a pretty way to go…
