Captcha or recaptcha is good enough imo, no point in reinventing the wheel. Alternatively, split instructions in an email and on the website. For ex: Send email with What is the square of 3 (sent as an image for every word) And on the website Email + 25 = xxxxx

Do you have a link to the captcha solving bot? Some websites I go to they turn that shit up to 11 and I can’t solve it with my totally human eyes
…What if someone made a captcha that’s deliberately unsolvable by anyone BUT a machine? So the only way to prove you’re not a bot is to say “I can’t understand this”. Sprinkle it into a normal, solvable captcha at a 30% chance, and there you go
