It reminds me how Imgur is often discussing images that were uploaded for Reddit and OP will never know about all the comments.

    Well, need a new vocabulary for a new place. Again, my stance has been consistent: We are not redditors anymore, we do not belong there, Lemmy should be a place for people, we keep the good of reddit and kick out the bad, and bots are certainly not people.

      I think that’s what most of our communites are doing now. There are a few C’s that saw their growth only through bots, but it looks like people just avoid those places for the most part. I believe that if we just keep doing what we’re doing now, everything will be just fine. We have plenty of quality content and the people here are amazing! Let’s just keep it up and not lose hope because of some bad apples. It’s so early still, our instance doesn’t even have dedicated rules for bots yet :) everything will likely be much smoother in a week or so
