i am not an american, but i can confirm for you that you seem significantly dumb to me.
if you see an error in any fact i stated, please point it out. i can’t do anything about your emotions…

he may. but the last debate strongly suggested otherwise. someone asked why do people think that biden will be first to die and this is why. because he seem in significantly worse shape.
he looked like he was going to die before the debate ends. i absolutely don’t believe that, if elected, he will survive whole term.
(and that is ignoring the fact that having a pulse is quite low threshold for presidential candidate)
And apparently that matters more than the blatant lies and non-answers coming from the other side.
yes, for estimating whether someone dies due to health condition, that health condition matters significantly more than someone else lying. 😜
Why does everyone seem to think Biden is the one who will die first.
because we recently saw them in televised debate and one of them looked in significantly worse shape than the other.
trump is just a symptom of underlying problem in society that manifests itself all over the world.
populist politicians trying to appeal to nostalgy for “good old times”, ability to weaponize social media and craft customized lies to every minor group, russian bot networks spewing out propaganda… it is something that creates problems everywhere and it will not get better.
recent eu parliament elections are shining example.
and that’s missing the fact that the kidnapper usually doesn’t leave a business card behind, so he wouldn’t have clue who to kill 😂
the truth must be told: Firefox is not as optimized as Chrome
what are you talking about? my desktop pc is amd fx4300. definition of old and subpar - https://i.imgur.com/WBm5Ub1.png - and i have 313 open tabs right now.
granted, that is slightly more affected by memory, before i updated from 8 to 32 gb recently, it was admittedly slightly more sluggish.
but at the same time normal people don’t really have 300 open tabs at once and also you have to ask what is the threshold where you are willing to sacrifice your privacy for slight speed increase.
do you have some numbers to support that speed difference, or is it just your feeling, or anecdote that is being passed around and everyone repeats it and everyone believes it, because everyone says so?
what i don’t get is all the people complaining about google and at the same time using their browser…
i believe that trying to steer masses away from chrome would be more useful in the long run than trying to make it work
(…) are among thousands of other employee-reported privacy incidents, according to a copy of an internal Google database which tracks six years worth of potential privacy and security issues obtained by 404 Media.
So is leak of that database going to be next record in it? :D
Except this “routine” is word for word clone. It is more like people retelling the same political joke with only difference being the politician’s name… No one calls it new joke, or “homage”. We call it “yes, this joke was given to Moses on stone tablet” 😊
Well that would require too much work invested into stealing of https://xkcd.com/327/
So the guy died and decomposed in 10 minutes and somehow it mysql’s fault?
the smaller the hole, the smaller the heat transfer. you can also fill it with some kind of montage foam, once the cables are through.
As for the other question, getting the rocket and the launchpad on top of Mt. Everest would pose some practical challenges…
i have an udp joke. i am not sure if you would get it, but i don’t really care.
do they want to publish news every now and then, or do you just think they should? it seems like they are happy with what they have now.
there is nothing worse then outdated wordpress full of spam, where no one publishes anything because they don’t actually want to, but they were convinced by someone else that they “need it”
RSS allows you to subscribe on topic you actually like or want and ignore other stuff.
subscription on lemmy allows you the exact same thing. i don’t see how scrolling through your rss reader should be any different from scrolling through the lemmy app.
i am afraid that consensus among general population increasingly is “words mean exactly what you want them to mean at any given moment”. welcome to post-factual age.
i meant error in facts, not your inability to understand topic of the discussion (this isn’t discussion about policy), or the fact that i am not an american, so i am not voting for anything in us elections.
