TS3 - mid-sized group (100-1000 players) requires a real IT team, will have an authentication system and generally will have their shit together. Ease of set up is handy, but admin user accounts can break servers.

Mumble - Welcome to the big leagues. (1K+ players) The resources you require now require resources in meat-space and are rather substantial. You need real IT security and people on a payroll. It will drive your admins nuts for about a week setting everything up, but once its done, you wont have to touch it again.

Also that up and down votes are not tallied on user profiles. One of the issues with reddit is that if your point of view is unpopular, you cant discuss it on subs that require X amount of karma. Eventually you will be downvoted into being unable to reply. Here, conversation is more open and accounts dont carry a scarlet letter.

The people who think its a prediction or the direction society is headding are directly the type of people the film is making fun of. Similar to the people who get pissed off at Monty Python’s “Life of Brian”, both films make simple points (Idiocracy points out a misunderstanding on how education and general intelligence work, and runs with it. Life of Brian directly ridcules people who are bad listeners) and their detractors just sorta walk into the point the film was trying to make in the first place.

Also in Idiocracy, Terry Crews’s character knows they dont understand something, they find someone who knows more on the subject than they do, and listens to them. That is the single most unrealistic part of the film. /s
