The industry did this to itself, and while i cannot imagine the pain and stress of working 80hrs+ and hitting dead lines…no one pulled the brakes on the train, covid revealed how absolutely deficit heavy the gaming community was operating under. this happened once before, history isn’t repeating but its dropping and spitting hell fire rap bars

you wouldn’t happen to be born in the 70s? I have a Gen X friend who has the very same mindset, I’m curious to see how much of that era’s culture drives the dislike towards anything russian, japanese or otherwise ‘communist’

23·10 months agoi hop between geico, progressive, and allstate. after the 6month bait deal ends i just call and move over to the next competitors 6 month sweet deal.
It’s easy to maintain, just 3 tabs on my browser and now you don’t even have to talk to a person.
i learned after graduating in 2006 and walking face first into 2008s bullshit. if they want to hot potato lumps of debt, ill just hot potato competing services.
Here is my issue. Anyone who is worth their weight in computer science salt will tell you this bullshit lockdown policies, vs the hacks that break them. don’t do anything except make rich board members look stupid and the people who implement them have leaked a work around. i remember when police scanners and detectors were going back and forth in the early 2000s
then waze and google maps started to add share features for drivers. Oh a cop is sitting here a couple miles up. thanks crowd sourced map data.
i would like to think there is someone incredibly intelligent telling these people its crap and the board is jerking off over short term quarter profits
