I just block the prolific foreign language communities and scroll past the remaining ones I don’t use all very often, so not a big issue for me
I think it’s in a coma. No idea if or when it will wake up
There are still bugs that need fixing. The main developer seems to be taking a break, check the posts from GKD. Understandable and well deserved for all the good work he did, Memmy was the best app on IOS in my view and it made my move to the fediverse a better experience. But I am writing this using the Voyager app, I switched because of unresolved bugs (mainly comments not showing up depending on the sort option). I may return when development resumes.
What sort of support? I already see kbin posts in memmy.
Not OP, but every now and then I will view all to discover communities I may want to subscribe to. Blocking ones that appear a lot in the ‘all’ feed but are of no interest to me (memes, anime,…) sanitises the list a bit
I too would like them to be marked read on interaction. But you can do it manually. Not got an unread message, but it’s either swipe left/right or the three dots menu, not sure.
Something weird going on there. [email protected] does not appear in the lemmy search results (ios version), even though it has 12k subscribers and plenty of posts. Turkey_news for example does show up but does not even appear to have any posts.
I was never an apollo user (narhal was my favourite), but yeah, memmy is amazing for such a young app
Checked your setting for hiding read posts in feed?
Take my upvote for educating an idiot.
Not for me :(
Edit: that icon disappears when switching to compact mode. Which I use because I don’t like the large images on some posts. It often leaves me with only two posts visible in my feed:
Agreed. I would also like a clear visual cue in the feed showing what I have read. Bold to normal, or normal to italics, or a little status icon
Not to be confused with OpenSUSE…
