  • If they’re doing the orders by the time they were received, then it’s no different than standing in a long queue for people to order. It would probably be easier to bring back the number ticketing system, but regardless it should not be different than people coming into the store and standing in line. If they’re doing the mobile orders first, then that’s most likely a contractual obligation that these employees have no control of. No offense, but as a whole society we now expect ourselves to receive service instantly and any form of delay is inconvenient and frustrating. I get it, but patience is a virtue

First, governments already have all the data they want from you. There’s no way around that. Second, the more information you have on the internet, the easier it is for someone to take your identity. Look up security breaches and hacks and it will become very obvious since many places put your personal info on the web while guaranteeing your info is safe. Third, there are databases that aren’t illegal that store your personal info that people can research to track you down. And it’s not originally meant for unscrupulous reasons. These databases were first meant to replace phone books which would post your contact number and address, but those have since been used for shady business. For example, if you get a lot of spam calls, that means you are on an internet database somewhere.

Another example of why it’s important is a personal experience. I was deployed, and my parents started getting messages from random people asking for my exact location and what operation I was involved in. They claimed they served with me and they wanted a way to send me mail. They refused and then started getting threats of having my niece and sister taken. When I found out, I got NCIS and the FBI involved and not long after the investigations started, there were no more messages.

Another example I can give to you is what started my perma ban on reddit. I saw the story of a man in Wyoming who accidentally ran a wolf over (the wolf was very injures). So instead of putting it out of it’s misery or calling animal services, he paraded the hurt animal around a bar for a few hours before taking it out back and putting it down. I found his phone number on aforementioned databases and posted it on reddit.

The moral of the story is that you are available and findable if you do not take proper steps

  • The uncanny valley is a sensation of another entity being close to human, but also have the feeling they aren’t human. We have identified humans as former primates with ears in the middle parts of our heads, shortness of fur or hair, and no tail. Meaning things that aren’t natural traits for a human that an individual accepts as a normal trait, that individual could be considered uncanny, but off.

I know there’s no sexualization of animals, but that is not a widespread belief. Many people will mentally categorize you as furries, which is also something I currently find uncomfortable, but that’s my personal problem, and they are doing nothing wrong in doing what they do. Neither are you

Ultimately my opinion on the outside looking in is this; people who try and convince you to not have the lifestyle you do cares about you and is concerned about you not fitting into society. At that point, it’s your job to prove them wrong without losing yourself or their care. They fear that you won’t fit into current society. However current society changes all the time. Ask any minority demographic that is put into the category of “lifestyle” and I feel they’ll tell you the same.

  • You want any animal (that won’t maul you to death) to be your best friend? Scratch a place they themselves can’t reach. Like with dogs and cats, I immediately go for their inner ears because they can’t scratch there and it constantly itches. The back center of the spine near the tail is another good spot because few animals can reach that “one exact spot”. Animals will melt like butter if you find the spots to scratch that they can’t reach. Imagine constantly having an itch on your back, and then someone comes and starts scratching that exact spot. It’s fucking magical
