Maybe it’s a combination of both the sheer abundance of energy and the ability to create almost everything out of it…

It’s like Futurama but in the Trek canon…
This is often done for consistency. Especially (although I have to admit that does not apply to TOS) when also heavy makeup or prosthetics are applied.
My dog refuses to do 2FA so that’s not going to happen anytime soon… /s
For the exact reason they are posting this. What if some service you are referencing has breaking changes? If you pinpoint the exact version it will have no effect to your project unless you decide (hopefully after some consideration) to upgrade the service version number.
I would love to see this as well. It’s definitely a challenging topic as crossposts can happen across instances, but I think it would greatly improve the discoverability of content and new communities.
Oh yes. Creating an empty environment can easily take up several gigabytes…
Can’t wait to tell my wife she has to create a merge request to change our plans for tonight. 😉
So your tooling was at fault for assuming something that has always been declared a convention not a rule. It is like assuming we will never reach the year 2000 and there only storing the last to digits for the year…
That’s true, but especially for a show aimed at kids the survival or wellbeing of the crew would have been more than enough. There was absolutely no reason at all to bring up a plan to destroy the whole Starfleet…
I understand what you mean, but they couldn’t resist the “end of the universe as we know it” trope. That was totally unnecessary in my opinion.
I already wrote it in the other thread: I loved DS9 Harbinger. I remember the feeling that I could roam around on the promenade freely and explore the station (not sure if the game really was able to deliver that). It had pretty decent graphics for it’s time. I wonder if there are others who also loved this game,
I played a lot of Armada (1 & 2) and loved Elite Force (1 & 2). I tried Command and Final Unity but I didn’t understand English enough at the time to know what to do. My favourite game was DS9 Harbinger though because DS9 was also my favourite show.
Everyone here assumes that midnight=12a.m. is valid everywhere but in a lot languages this is not the case (German and French just to name two). So maybe this is just something weird English speaking people do…
This looks like a Starfleet version of the Klingon Bird of Prey…
Would somebody share some screenshots?
Because the crew sees itself as researchers, scientists and diplomats. There is no reason to have a hazard team. We can assume that the encounters we see on screen are only the unusual ones…
