  • Let’s get something out of the way. I’m not a liberal. So please stop arguing with the person you want me to be and try having a conversation with me.

If you assume that this poll is representative of the whole election then you are letting your bosses get in the way of reality. Right now it’s a statistical tie but with Harris ahead by 2 points. And on the electorial side Harris leads by 7 and is probably taking Michigan. But neither party is near 270 yet. So you might want to be less absolutist in your predictions.

The pole here states that this poll is an improvement for Harris from the last one they did. So if the trend continues your prediction is wrong.

Any time I see “far left” or “far right” I have to ask qualifying questions to figure out if they are the kind of person that always adds far to it no matter what the situation is.

If the left and the right politicians both agree on something then it tautologically can’t be far anything. Maybe the Overton window moved but it’s still the centrist position.

Dems have been doing pretty good for themselves lately. They’ve dominated every election since Dobbs.

  • Yes. Anything more than 2000 mg, aka two freaking grams, is likely to cause diarrhea. Because that’s the symptom of a Vit C overdose. It will cause your body to flush water and with it other water soluble vitamins. Unless you are lactating or a blood test says you need more there is no reason to consume more than 120 mg a day. And with the Standard American Diet [SAD] you will get plenty of vit c because so many things are fortified with C that not getting the RDA is very difficult.

So by taking 3 grams a day you, waste money, flush other vitamins potentially creating new issues, spend too much time on the pot.

Vit C is clinically proven to prevent scurvy. And that’s about it. Its benefits are extremely over stated by people trying to take your money. Airborne is a scam.

  • Running is a very good strategy. In non-stand your ground states if you have the opportunity to run you have a legal obligation to. It means you aren’t in immediate danger. In a stand your ground state you have the option to run. But if the person shooting isn’t visible then sneaking around with a gun trying to find them is how a good-guy with a gun ends up dead like John Hurley.

Part of being a responsible gun owner is knowing when to run.

  • Doesn’t work. I have several. And I have a concealed carry. A conservative knowing these things has never been scared. They use it as an excuse to pull out theirs because they think like children and have to show and tell. Even if it’s in a public place, like the damn corner of a courthouse. Which is not the kind of place a responsible adult should ever reveal a weapon.
