Men will literally buy their teenager an assault rifle after the FBI tells them their kid threatened to shoot up a school rather than go to therapy.

Let’s get something out of the way. I’m not a liberal. So please stop arguing with the person you want me to be and try having a conversation with me.
If you assume that this poll is representative of the whole election then you are letting your bosses get in the way of reality. Right now it’s a statistical tie but with Harris ahead by 2 points. And on the electorial side Harris leads by 7 and is probably taking Michigan. But neither party is near 270 yet. So you might want to be less absolutist in your predictions.
The pole here states that this poll is an improvement for Harris from the last one they did. So if the trend continues your prediction is wrong.
Any time I see “far left” or “far right” I have to ask qualifying questions to figure out if they are the kind of person that always adds far to it no matter what the situation is.
If the left and the right politicians both agree on something then it tautologically can’t be far anything. Maybe the Overton window moved but it’s still the centrist position.
Dems have been doing pretty good for themselves lately. They’ve dominated every election since Dobbs.
Can you describe the difference between far-right and moderate-right foreign policy in this context? Given that she has made almost zero statements on foreign policy I’m guessing this is about Palestine and Israel?
Or maybe because it’s a useless poll. It’s so niche a group that it won’t play any significant role in the election. This doesn’t look like a post saying Harris is in trouble. It looks like a post saying Stein has a chance. Which they don’t. So it’s getting down voted because it contributes nothing of value.
Just guessing but the VP is the head of the Senate and casts any tie breaking votes there. Not sure if that happened here but it’s how the VP can get involved with “signing” stuff in the Senate.
It takes just as long to cook, and has the texture of parboiled rice.
It is pitch black in here.
Yes. Anything more than 2000 mg, aka two freaking grams, is likely to cause diarrhea. Because that’s the symptom of a Vit C overdose. It will cause your body to flush water and with it other water soluble vitamins. Unless you are lactating or a blood test says you need more there is no reason to consume more than 120 mg a day. And with the Standard American Diet [SAD] you will get plenty of vit c because so many things are fortified with C that not getting the RDA is very difficult.
So by taking 3 grams a day you, waste money, flush other vitamins potentially creating new issues, spend too much time on the pot.
Vit C is clinically proven to prevent scurvy. And that’s about it. Its benefits are extremely over stated by people trying to take your money. Airborne is a scam.
Okay, but were the rest of the pages blank?
Diary excerpts that end too soon
GOP “Why won’t someone think of the children.” Also GOP "We do. [A lot more than is healthy.]”
There is no record of this guy being a drag queen.
I am the only nerd across multiple generations. My nephew is a Hikikomori and not traveling to see me. I’d rather have a real system that connects to the network and fills the need for accurate weather in my town.
I know any in my case. I’m in a black hole of info. The nearest weather station is over 30 miles away and it’s not remotely accurate for my location because of terrain changes between here and there. There isn’t even a weather station in my overly large and oddly shaped county.
We went so far as to contact the people in charge of weather stations to see if we could set one up in our yard and while there was some initial excitement from them they eventually ghosted us.
And getting killed. First rule of engagement is to survive.
Running is a very good strategy. In non-stand your ground states if you have the opportunity to run you have a legal obligation to. It means you aren’t in immediate danger. In a stand your ground state you have the option to run. But if the person shooting isn’t visible then sneaking around with a gun trying to find them is how a good-guy with a gun ends up dead like John Hurley.
Part of being a responsible gun owner is knowing when to run.
A complete lack of organization and an air conditioner that hasn’t worked in three years. It’s frequently been 87 to 89 in my house for over a month now. It kills motivation to move. But I did just go outside and remove all the 4 foot tall grass from my brick patio. So I have that going for me. Which is nice.
I need to draw monsters that do yardwork. They work outside. Elves make shoes inside. Goblins prune and edge.
You’re one of those people that believes you shouldn’t believe someone when they tell you who they are.
Can I borrow $50?
Doesn’t work. I have several. And I have a concealed carry. A conservative knowing these things has never been scared. They use it as an excuse to pull out theirs because they think like children and have to show and tell. Even if it’s in a public place, like the damn corner of a courthouse. Which is not the kind of place a responsible adult should ever reveal a weapon.
I jot down notes in SimpleNote on occasion. I need to gather my supplies.
Small monsters outfitted in cast off household junk that has been repurposed is a longer term goal.
The problem isn’t ideas. It’s putting the phone down and picking up the drawing tools.
It definitely plays on both sides but if you make the comment too long it loses its punch
