Looks to me the fatties have doubled since the 80s and 90s. Just because there used to be fat people before, doesn’t mean there’s no problem today. Line goes up. If the trend continues, it’s just like 2-3 decades till almost everyone is fat.

Back when they made “300” it was almost satire how shredded these guys looked. It was obvious it wasn’t realistic and wasn’t meant to be. Nowadays we get shows like Reacher with an absolutely humongous lead that’s supposed to wander around doing jack shit all day… right. His mother shat him out this way.

And female “tough” leads are often tiny and no muscle in sight yet they still kick ass and routinely dispose off bad guys twice their size. Why do the guys even need to be this big when physics don’t matter?

I hate this so much. Hollywood is so fucking fake.

My point was it’s a myth that MacOS is simple or efficient. Basic stuff is either overly complicated or straight up impossible.

I was complaining about MacOS and you brought up Linux for some reason. I am aware I can do anything on Linux I can on Windows. I’ve used it briefly from time to time and it has a very windows-like work flow for basic stuff. MacOS doesn’t.

Linux isn’t MacOS.

I’ve been using windows PCs for 25 years and struggle with the damn Mac at work. The usability of the thing is just utter garbage. Nothing is better but everything is different just… because. I’ve wasted so much time learning the fucking thing and still nothing just works.

I don’t know why Apple hates a proper Taskbar. I miss it everytime I struggle to find one of my open applications. Which is always.

But what do you do instead? Take a look at when some parts of the world would see their sunrise and sunset if all the world switched to winter time or summer time forever. What works at one place, results in a crazy daylight cycle in another.

Or make kids wear football gear and helmets. Maybe they can even combine it with body armor for the occasional school shooting.
