  • Did you reach out to the seller to confirm? In my experience, if the listing has expired which happens when only one 1 item is being sold, eBay doesn’t show all the info after the sale. I try to look up old orders and this happens a lot. The sellers are usually responsive and care about their ratings so they will provide any listing clarification or even a refund before you can leave a negative review. eBay is also good with buyer protection if the sellers refuses a refund. I suspect eBay cannot change their reviews so they are giving time for the sellers to resolve any issues.

  • I do this whenever I get a new iPhone. Backup the old phones and include all the apps to be safe. I set up my new phone as new and start using it and download apps when I need it. So I go from 150+ apps to only the default ones so it eliminates any app I barely used on my old phone. I carry my old phone with me for a few days just in case I need to access some app immediately but if you have unlimited data you wouldn’t need to do that.

You can have some apps and settings on iCloud which will get carried over - like Health, Fitness, Passwords etc.

They are some settings which don’t get carried over, like the mail app defaults to Archive on swipe and I need to change to Trash. You’ll anyway figure it out if you are used to one setting. If it’s not usable you can always install the backup. So far I don’t mind starting fresh.

  • Thanks for the warning. I learnt many years ago to not fund any project on Kickstarter. I haven’t been burned but I hate the wait after I have already paid and it definitely sucks if the product is not what you expected. So now, I just follow them and if they successfully launch I’ll buy it. They usually put in on sale at the same price for Backers so I don’t fall for the discounted price anymore.
