I’ll only vote for trump if he wasn’t an uninformed, incompetent, narcissist rapist and general ass of a person.

Yes, but proprietary methods encourage fragmentation. Id rather they build on a universal standard that gets updated once in a while. If apple were to open up iMessage, I’d be on board. But not holding my breath waiting for that to happen.
I bet their version of RCS is also minimal. Just so they can complain about how broken RCS is. Thanks to their shenanigans, third party messaging apps thrive outside of the standards and market fragmentation is real. Getting to be a damn pain having to check which apps a person has before being able to communicate with them.

I guess I would download and print a car, then!
If people say ‘i have excel competence’, the difference could be between ‘i can resize fonts and do tables for my company forms because I don’t know how to do them in word’ to ‘fully modelling a business plan for a Telco, including it’s subsidiary units’. Make sure you test for the level of competence you’re after.
Learn a new formula every now and then, or at very least learn to read other people’s formulas, then google what you don’t know. Literacy in any field is the result of a long process of learning.
(Reread your question) Outside of IT: if an appliance stops working, it’s sometimes just a fuse that needs replacing. It’s cheap and easy to do.
Not a dishwasher, but may be related. I air dry my clothes indoors, sometimes overnight, and used to get that damp rag smell on my clothes as a result. Solution: toss in a tbs of baking soda - no more smell.
It’s the sudden realization. You can see the stream hitting the water, but also somehow feel your leg get wet. Then it hits you, and you wake up disgusted at yourself.
Ok, serious question: were the moderators offered share options, or are they hoping that the company would eventually compensate them? Or is this discussion blanketed by an NDA?
Oppa Gangnam style!
Ah yes! Projecktt or something like that. Procedurally generated models and textures, and caused some controversy due to heavy reliance on the directx API. But technically astounding, nonetheless!
Sorry, can’t give you references, but the examples I used were from one of the early Mario games. I was around when the euro demo scene was still hot, so there were loads of tips and tricks they used to game the 8086-x386 hardware to create dazzling effects in real time, prior to the introduction of acceleration and dedicated graphics chipsets. It was a truly glorious time, and a great source of wonder growing up in the 90s watching the industry evolve around me.
Still blows my mind (though not in a good way) to hear a simple app or http framework nowadays needs several gigabytess just to install. Everything I mentioned used to happen in 32k-8mb of RAM.
You should go read up on the small optimizations that developers do to seemingly surpass the limits of earlier hardware. Stuff like swapping palettes in between scanlines to give the impression of more available colors, or reusing palette swapped cloud sprites in place of bushes to save on limited ram. Good engineers are really, really good. They seem to find a solution for everything.
Anyone who’s not an influencer who bought it solely for the likes, fully intending to return it, care to chime in about the thing?

Heavens forbid hiring delinquents associated with usernames known to make disparaging remarks on the internet! They should be doxxed and prevented from participating at any level of society! MAGA!
Well said. I know a lawyer in Singapore, and they have a band where they perform with the very people they put away as a means of reintegration and rehabilitation of convicts post incarceration. As society, we need to do better than labels and prejudice.
Was he tried and has he served his sentence? If so, it’s incumbent on society to put aside the personal feelings and help the criminal (yes that’s what I said) re-integrate into society. It’s either that, or fight for a different system.
You sure about that? His brain is smooth as a bowling ball, and about as dense.
