@goatmeal Hamburger Mary’s is a drag/hamburger joint with a family day on Sundays. Drag queens dressed up like Lucy, etc. serve hamburgers and do family-friendly comedy. Is this for all families? Probably not. But politicians should NOT be able to tell me I can’t take MY kid there. Especially when I can give consent for my child to see a rated-R movie with obscene amounts of gun violence and death. People having their heads blown off is seriously BETTER for a child to see than a man telling jokes in a dress?

In all seriousness, that stuff is dangerous:

• Contact with your lungs can lead to death in as little as a few minutes.
• Excessive ingestion can lead to a deadly condition called hyperhydration.
• It causes nearly a million car accidents and 4,700 car-related deaths per year.
• If heated, it can violently explode.

Write your congressperson and urge them to have this dangerous chemical banned!

@followthewhiterabbit I’m not sure if it’s out of your price range, but the whole Arkham Collection (all 3 games) is on sale for $9 right now. It’s definitely worth the extra $4 to get two more games. And they’re all great for different reasons in my opinion.

@spicytuna62 my first (at 16) was a ‘96 Acura Integra, 5-speed, coupe. In black, so it was the temperature of lava in the Georgia heat. But god, I loved that car. It was zippy and drove like a dream. It was light enough that I could pull in my parents’ driveway at 3am with the ignition (and consequently, the power steering) shut off so they wouldn’t wake up. It fit 4 people, but usually only needed my seat and a seat for my CD catalog. I could drive it with my knees while eating Taco Bell on the way home from school. I traded it in for a 4-runner, and never felt the same love until I recently bought a MINI Cooper Clubman.
