Yeah this is probably the most likely. We do love to put plastic on everything.

That’s a reasonable guess, but it suggests that (a lot) of people are unpacking new electronics over bare live electrical wire.
I’ve been buying electrical and electronic things for years (okay decades), and the toys and computers I got as a kid never had these. The cords are always nicely coiled in their own cavity of the box too, so already protected well enough.
All in all it just seems like a solution to a non-existent problem.
Possibly a few real ones, too!
I had done this for several years but recently I’m running into the issue where my home router won’t let me specify a DNS server that is on the same subnet. I dont have multiple networks running at home so I can’t make a Pihole work anymore.
Welcome!
I’d shake your hand, but, well…
So it’s a thickener then? Sticky is like a melted marshmallow, molasses, or asphalt sealer.
I use solid shampoo in general, but when I previously used liquid it always lathered right up and did its thing. Never noticed anything sticky about it.
I don’t see the value of sticky shampoo.
I have a plant identifier app that says it’s periwinkle.
Somebody’s too fancy for Malt-O+Meal cereal bags.
Funny, I say the same thing about Texas.
You just succinctly summed up Steve Ballmer’s entire tenure as CEO of Microsoft.
Because the local one didn’t pay as much for placement.
Wait, are you suggesting that this “generational” thing is why I have to go to a Native American casino to see Quiet Riot??!?
Clearly at least 13,0000 are not.

Atmospheric based praise pursuits have always been within their purview. Space just gets all the press.
Not that I disagree with you at all, but we all want raises every year too. For you to get paid more you either need to take a higher level job or get a raise.
If course, inflation has exceed wage growth for a long time, but it’s not quite as simple as business owners just raising prices.
I think what bothers him is that he had something that he liked and can no longer find. It may not be the case here, but companies (in the US) are en masse changing their recipes to be cheaper to manufacture and it’s affecting the end product.
In the case of something like a cookie which can be made 1000 different ways by 1000 different companies, finding what you like took time, luck, or both. When they change the recipe on you, it’s not a simple, “just buy a different cookie, dummy.” It’s a major undertaking. Sometimes you get lucky and this was the push that allowed you to discover a new, even better, favorite. More often than not though, it’s just another part of your day that got a little bit shittier than it was yesterday.
It’s annoying and I totally get it.
