I’m just here for the free vacation.
I think it’s still available here
Hello! Yes, we’ve tried it! It was a Jack Keller recipe that called for 14 jalapenos and some raisins with a bunch of sugar. Fermented fully, but it was too sweet still, I actually found the pepper taste to be nice, but sadly the sugar made it undrinkable. Would make it again with an amended recipe.
Recently got into hoochin, just put some pawpaw wash in the primary to make wine. We also have apple juice bubbling away, was gonna jack it but I think I’m gonna buy an air still and throw it in that to see what happens.
On the flip side, the ukulele community is so open and friendly, helped me stick with a hobby I sucked at to begin with, and now I’ve released actual music!
That was a great read!
Omg yes the ear protection. I never paid attention to the warnings, it was just a loud club on a random Thursday after all. I was too young to realize the compounding effect. Even now I look back and feel like my partying and exposure to loud fun was mild, yet here I am with partial hearing loss and a portable white noise generator.
I absolutely feel the same. Notice how you had to point out you’re left leaning? That just shows how militant and aggressive Lemmy can be that you have to state that just in case.
I like Lemmy, I just wish it was a little less stubborn (and I say that as a left leaning person).
They have a whole process for that, some emails were REALLY problematic
We use it for our friend group, as we have pub nights, group meals, vacations etc. we also all do each other’s cat care when we’re out of town, so we have a channel devoted to pet photos etc. works well enough for us.
Fun fact: I got to access to his email through my job once. It’s insane the amount of dumb fuckery people will email. One person had cc’d his email on a whole thread of emails stalking some woman.
That’s a wild take, thanks for writing it up. I’m in Tennessee, and it feels like our state isn’t as shrewd as that, but I could be wrong.
Innnnteresting. That’s an angle I hadn’t thought about before.
Yep, it’s the road sign part that gets me confused. I live in Tennessee. I suppose that makes some sense but I still don’t know if I understand why it needs a sign vs just having an ordinance and fining people who don’t follow it. In my brain, road signs are for things you might need to know in the spur of the moment. It’s not like people are going “Whoops I just built an unapproved driveway!”
Heyyyy I’m at least double digits in age.
Idk why but Kelly Clarkson.
Stickers should have a greater sense of self worth and keep it together when people are trying to tear them apart.
A law that prohibits labels from being too sticky that you can’t reuse the packaging. For example, I should absolutely be able to easily peel off the labels from empty wine bottles and glass jars so I can reuse them.
I thought it was quite good once upon a time.
