Quebec has them.
25 years in the federal government in guns and badges, 22 of those in Corrections, then 10 years in hacker hunting and breach detection, now an information security sales engineer. Homestead farmer, amateur welder, equipment operator, electronic designer, 40 years soldering, husband and father.
Quebec has them.
I worked with a woman when I worked for the federal government who was quite unpleasant. She left and went to work for a major contractor. I was on a call with her when several of her people didn’t show up for the call. She was raging and asked me where they were. I told her that I had no idea where her people were. She finally had had enough and demanded that I go find them and get them on the call. I said, “I’m not going to find YOUR people on your call with me, THE CLIENT. I don’t work for you anymore, Diane.” and hung up on her
Russia can’t even beat Ukraine with their surplus second rate western weapons. NATO, because that’s who the fight would be against, would destroy Russia. If Russia used nukes everyone would die. It’s a loss for Russia either way. No one outside of Russia believes that Russia even had a hint of a chance against NATO. The Ukraine war has made that very clear.
This is classic right wing “humor”. They get butt hurt because we make fun of them so they think that humor just means hurting the other guys. They try, and fail, and we laugh at them which makes them even more butt hurt.

“Lab” is a misnomer. I was running a lab for an adjacent product but the real grunt of this box was used for real time breach detection and hacker hunting where the box needed to be plugged directly into the network it was analyzing. I was very VERY good at detecting breaches. I met a group of the operators of APT1 and they knew who I was. Heh.
The UPS box was very heavy. The network and storage boxes were lighter. Most of the weight of this one is in the 20 hard drives and the DL360 chassis. This is definitely a 2 man lift.
I use my tractor at home and have the venue load it with a forklift when I’m on the rise.
I paid USD$160 for it used on Ebay.
It’s time to abandon Twitter to the fascists and bots.
It’s so funny how we have a preference. I’ve always thought that I would like to own a Japanese Nakiri because it’s similar to the Chinese cleaver.
I have three of them and they are almost always my first choice for everything prep. I use a boning/filet knife when I’m prepping meat and a carving knife then I’m carving but that Chinese cleaver comes out for almost everything else.
I own very expensive knives. I bought them when I was single and had a good income. I have taken very good care of them and they are great knives to this day.
The first knife I always reach for is my $15 Chinese cleaver.
