I wander what it will be in some modern format like WEBP or JPEG XL.

Yogscast.
It just gone downhill after Jaffa Factory Minecraft series.
It’s playing CK3 or watching my favorite show in Russian for me.
Drivers also tend to keep attention on the road a lot less in the movies.
They seem to be a natural replacement for smartphones if portable enough. Although I see a possible danger of people being addicted to technology and social media even more, since you literally can’t escape it of you have it on your nose.
That said I will definitely be an early adopter if these AR headsets become affordable enough.
That’s why everyone learning English should also learn basic IPA to be able to read phonetic transcription and pronounce words correctly.
Just knowing the symbols for all English vowels/consonants is fine, no need to study IPA more than that, unless you find it interesting, like me.
I recommend reading this Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_phonology.
Just look up consonant and vowel charts here, you don’t need to study the details unless you really need to. Especially given that this article is full of linguistic jargon, and you probably won’t be able to understand any of this unless you have elementary knowledge of phonetics/phonology.
I really hope that AI feature will select health-related questions and will put a disclaimer that the answer might be not true and life threatening.
This meme is posted so often, some people may actually believe that Chrome uses a lot of RAM. And it uses about the same amount of RAM as Firefox.
I don’t think I’d be happy if all my savings were reduced to $15.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that was illegal in EU.
First OS: Windows ME (shudders)
First Linux distro: Some random one designed to run on Netbooks (Couldn’t get wireless to work if I remember correctly)
That’s why I only code as a hobby.
Frutiger Aero was best. Not only for beautiful design, but also there were standards people followed on making UI’s. Now everything goes. Last time I wanted to register on some shitty website it didn’t provide me any feedback that I wrote “weak” password (I copied it from KeePass), except literally green button that you could click like a madman and it didn’t do anything but went gray when password was “strong enough”.
Exactly, that’s why I am watching modded Minecraft playthrpughs instead.
Probably for driving truck into car while being drunk. (the former in game, letter in RL).
If my dog barked in my apartment all day and I couldn’t deal with it, I’d hire a dog behaviorist. While I think having a dog is good for both owner and dog itself, you shouldn’t disturb other people life because of it.
As an example: I have a dog that just aggressively behaves around other dogs, never went up teaching him (but probably should, but don’t know how) how to behave properly, so I just don’t allow him to go for walks without leash anymore.
Last time I used latest Ubuntu:
Default scaling on login screen and desktop sucked. If I had vision problems it would be unusable.
Settings application crashed after trying to open half of the menus.
Despite user interface looking like it’s made for tablets, the actual touch usability was horrible. I couldn’t even resize windows without being precise as fuck and there was no windows snapping despite it being a feature on Windows for more than a decade.
Couldn’t double click on Windows program to run it in Wine despite it being possible 10 years ago.
Reliance on snaps, even though installing software from 3rd party sources still being horrible.
That hardly looks like original source code, but more like a HTML dumped from the website.
Or maybe just use used some visual editor to insert tables? I don’t believe it’s written by hand.
I really like Samsung phones, but oh boy, they are so bloated on default install it’s unbearable. When I got my Samsung Galaxy A52, there were like 10 different things that wanted my attention on first boot, and I uninstalled most uninstallable Samsung apps straight away.
No, but I do remember the cringe thing I did 9 months ago.
