They’re also saying that you can’t use communication with his administration against him. The place where you would be most likely to find evidence that an act was unofficial has been ruled off limits by these asshats. It’s a lot worse than it seems.
Yeah it’s awful, I really hope they fail but I’m not entirely sure they will. Most people who sign up are probably pretty good advertising targets.
I mean, Telly is giving away TVs that have a camera and second screen to play ads. Sony might not think they could get away with it a decade ago, but consumers seem to slowly accept more bullshit over time so I could definitely see their calculus changing in the future.
Honestly I think it’s just a shit idea. Only way I could see it flying is if you heavily (or completely) subsidized the cost of the television. There’s already a company giving away free ad supported TVs.

Because “Hey we should he careful or the extreme right will take over and dismantle our rights” is exactly what I get from OP. They specifically stated this is the beginning, it’s happening slowly, and they feel they would be a target if we continue on the same trajectory. What’s incorrect/hyperbolic here?
Pretty much all of history dealing with fascism disagrees with you. That alone justifies the concern. I haven’t seen anyone say the world is a year or two away from unimaginable suffering or death. But there is a very clear path to unimaginable suffering or death in front of us. We’ve seen the path of fascism taken before. We know what happens. We have historical and academic research that backs it up that we can compare to today.
Saying (without any evidence) that people are overreacting sounds much more like a coping mechanism to me. People are saying “hey we should really check out this smoke billowing under the door” and you’re telling everyone they’re being silly because you can’t see any fire.
I think the solution is for all the non assholes to work together to stamp out the assholes and remove them from having power. Incredibly difficult, but not impossible. It’s the same class war that’s been waged by the wealthy for decades. Theyve never stopped attacking, we just suck at working together and have allowed them to gain waaaay too much ground.
They’re always going to be on the bus, but we can at least push them to the back where they can’t fuck with where we want to go.

4·7 months agoI also have the pet safe for about 2 years, it’s been great so far. Definitely recommend the reusable tray if you want to keep costs down, the disposal trays are pretty pricey. I just dump the tray every 40-50 uses and it’s good to go. You have to use crystal litter though and that’s more expensive than clay stuff.

Ive got hundreds of these damn movies on my Plex server specifically because my wife LOVES this crap.
I’m convinced we have a Family-Guy-Manatee-Ball-Pit situation going on here. There’s less balls to choose from, but damn if I haven’t seen “save family business with a last minute impromptu charity event spurred on by the handsome dude from her past who posseses some talent” 100 fucking times.
They aren’t usually direct plot copies, they just have identical pieces that get moved around so they can factory farm these bitches out.
The fun part about this ruling is the final answer to most of these questions is “SCOTUS decides”. Any actions they find favorable will be ignored and any actions they oppose will be considered outside of the agency’s mandate.
