Thank you for humoring me, that’s very interesting!
I’ve never met someone who doesn’t enjoy movies and TV series at least to some degree. What do you not like? Is it fiction, or stories in general? Do you like documentaries? Podcasts? Books and audiobooks? Role playing games? What about music? What kind of stuff do you do for a living? What do you do during downtime and in your free time?
Sorry if I’m coming on a little strong, I’m just very curious.
While I can see where you’re coming from, about 90% of the music I listen to is some kind of metal. Most of it is just about cool nerdy stuff but there’s definitely some truly horrible shit in there. I have yet to and don’t intend to do any of it.
I think the bias comes from how loud some of these shitty people are. They build the stereotype. For the most part, people just mind their own business, go to work, raise their kids, and bob their heads to the beeps and boops.

I only ever tip if it’s raining or super cold when I’m ordering. Never a %, just 10 or 20 dkk (a couple bucks)
This is an off the cuff example. Yes you can rephrase to get around this. It’s just an example.
The chair and the table don’t go together because it’s made of wood.
The chair and the table don’t go together because it’s made(female version) of wood.
Since you ‘know’ tables get female articles and such, you know the speaker is talking about the table and not the chair. This is how Romanian works.
Yes, I am aware that singular chairs are male and plural chairs are female in Romanian which wouldn’t clarify anything if the sentence was “The chairs and the tables don’t go together because they’re made(female version) of wood.”
It changes a lot, but right now it’s The Stormchaser by Caligula’s Horse
3.6, not great, not terrible. Bum knee, carpal tunnel, stressed out. But Dune 2 in a couple weeks, vacay 2 weeks after that, and another vacay in a few months that I’m looking forward to.
As a complete nerd and homebody I was really surprised to find out during lockdown that I needed and wanted time outdoors.

Edit: apparently the links weren’t there in the start.
Same here except there’s no hr meeting, and I’m just forcing myself to do the things that used to make me happy in my free time instead of screaming into a pillow and drinking enough booze to dissolve me into the next lifetime
It’s a podcast. One of the stories in this episode talks about Swatch Internet Time, how the French tried to make the day be 10h, etc: https://99percentinvisible.org/episode/mini-stories-volume-17/
You also listen to 99% invisible?
Doesn’t that make you sleepy at work?
I’m certainly not a virtuous person but I don’t think I’m categorically bad.
