I’ve never met someone who doesn’t enjoy movies and TV series at least to some degree. What do you not like? Is it fiction, or stories in general? Do you like documentaries? Podcasts? Books and audiobooks? Role playing games? What about music? What kind of stuff do you do for a living? What do you do during downtime and in your free time?

Sorry if I’m coming on a little strong, I’m just very curious.

  • While I can see where you’re coming from, about 90% of the music I listen to is some kind of metal. Most of it is just about cool nerdy stuff but there’s definitely some truly horrible shit in there. I have yet to and don’t intend to do any of it.

I think the bias comes from how loud some of these shitty people are. They build the stereotype. For the most part, people just mind their own business, go to work, raise their kids, and bob their heads to the beeps and boops.

  • This is an off the cuff example. Yes you can rephrase to get around this. It’s just an example.

The chair and the table don’t go together because it’s made of wood.

The chair and the table don’t go together because it’s made(female version) of wood.

Since you ‘know’ tables get female articles and such, you know the speaker is talking about the table and not the chair. This is how Romanian works.

Yes, I am aware that singular chairs are male and plural chairs are female in Romanian which wouldn’t clarify anything if the sentence was “The chairs and the tables don’t go together because they’re made(female version) of wood.”
