That issue sounds to be with under gauge electrical wiring. We run an air fryer frequently in my home with no issue. It does pull a bit of electricity in the short time we use it, but it’s much better than using an electric oven to cook 20 chicken nuggies.

If there is a more favorable state that taxes these businesses less, more trucking companies will “relocate” there while the states they may impact more frequently see none of the tax revenue. I think this is why a lot of states depend on fuel tax. This brings in EV’s (which are extremely heavy as well) that use our roads but aren’t taxed appropriately for the usage and maintenance of the infrastructure. How do we tax these vehicles appropriately for the like/same mileage if there ICE vehicle counterparts. It seems unfair to tax one car that drives 10k/year as you would another that drives 50k/year.
