I’d argue this is a wash. Linux is more convenient in many ways but Windows is in others.

Everything old is new again.
“all your vscode extensions still work fine” is definitely not true. Sure a vast majority of them probably do, but certainly not all of them.
I still prefer it over full VS Code though.
I am super impressed with Arch on my home servers. People seem to think “rolling” means “unstable” but the only issues I’ve had were due to some weird hardware incompatibility with my motherboard. Once I replaced the mobo my system has been rock solid AND reasonably up-to-date (I do use LTS kernel).
I’d rather they use the open standard. Google should, too. If there are shortcomings with the standard then let’s improve the standard, not create a custom implementation of it.

I periodically go through my bookmarks and purge ones I haven’t accessed in a while because they’re not actually serving any purpose.
Not sure if you’re joking but Trevor died a couple of years ago.
As an Arch user this is how I feel about Manjaro as well. Installing Arch not only allows you to customize every aspect from the shell to the DE and more but also teaches you how to maintain and fix your OS when it breaks.
The best Arch-based distro is Arch.

I put together a repo that you should be able to pull down and get running pretty quickly using docker compose. Check it out and let me know if you have any questions.
This is SO true and exactly why code reviews always feel like a beat down (even when they’re not). There’s no visibility into the truly good work that’s already been done.
