Teflon tape on the underside!
From Wikipedia:
According to the Christian writer Clement of Alexandria, Dionysus was guided in his journey by Prosymnus or Polymnus, who requested, as his reward, to be Dionysus’ lover. Prosymnus died before Dionysus could honor his pledge, so to satisfy Prosymnus’ shade, Dionysus fashioned a phallus from a fig branch and penetrated himself with it at Prosymnus’ tomb. This story survives in full only in Christian sources, whose aim was to discredit pagan mythology, but it appears to have also served to explain the origin of secret objects used by the Dionysian Mysteries.
Didn’t have anything to do with Thomas.
Wasn’t a horse nominated this year?
Do we know what they were called in their time (obvs not Rosetta)?
Hot take; would humanity have as many if Europeans/British didn’t excavate them and put them in their own museums? I’m thinking we’d still have some, right? How much longer would it have taken to decipher?
That topic would make an interesting YouTube series.
Those are made of human.
Imma just leave this here: prankcast.com
Yeah, pretty sure it was fermented into ammonia and didn’t smell like pee.
Are you in the US?

Okay, so conservative and revisionist, but not imperialist. Maybe imperial-adjacent. Thanks for the deets.
Ah, so he protected them from being prosecuted or something?
My understanding is the murder’s family was ruined by donating to the church. The murderer wrote.that.he planned to kill the church leader,.but changed.his mine cause Abe was more famous and would get more attention. I don’t think there is evidence that the murderers motivations were political, but I could be wrong. Happen to have a source?
I don’t know what this means.
I wouldn’t call him imperialist either. I think he was a pretty decent leader for Japan. He wasn’t murdered for his politics, but because of his religious affiliation.
Why was he imperialist?
I wonder if the issue here is you don’t appreciate how stupid your own proletariat is (i.e., as stupid and vulnerable as the American populis, but not exposed to the same intense propaganda). I think humans everywhere are surprisingly gullible and illogical.
