Oops. I always wonder how to recognise federated services as domain names do not say much. How does Voyager avoid that issue?

I know that sub is full of negativists’ complaints, but this title screams r/USdefaultism tbh.
I host a server for my friends.
Though, I think the most important part abt eee is the intervention of dev process. Or you can say google is supporting it but very much not being supportive.
Only new posts (after your sub) would be federated to your home. So you might need to wait sometimes.
If there’s already new posts there it’s probably fedi issue
On a second thought, mac is not that different from rice
Is it going to scan my phone for credit card info and contacts etc.
It is. Contacts at least.
To get ui/ux suited for Mastodon, the app shouldn’t use e. g. the same interface for Lemmy.
Then the situation is almost the same as using different apps.
Tried it, pretty cool, though seems still depend on search engines’ indexing. The instance that I’m on seems not indexed.
Also it’s interesting it uses intext
to identify whether the results are from fediverse.
Wheres my borzoi community in threadi
I didn’t expect that “binary”
I think not, if the camera uses a screen to display images it’s essentially the same as an image on our computer/phone, as a bunch of pixels a fixed distance away from our eyes. Change focus point of our eyes can’t unblur an image.
However if there’s a camera that when taking photos the person looks directly into the lens, it will be different. Here the lens funcions as glasses.
The way I see it, it’s like a small world model with layers and emerging hierarchies, instead of being flat.
I mean Comic Mono is mentally relaxing and legible so great font of choice
Hello from a kbin instance
Understandable, porting an app for another service is a lot of work and dev of infinity might not want to do it.
Jerboa seems to be constantly flashing thus unusable for me though
I’m new to lemmy/kbin but used mastodon before the twitter exodus. After that mastodon has indeed gotten some twitter flavor so I guess it’s the same here.
Would the least special day actually be forgotten by the comments? It’s left to be see…
