I appreciate the usefulness of my eyebrows to divert rain away from my eyes. I do not appreciate my moustache’s water gathering properties when walking in humid environments.

Yeh, again I’m not sure how efficient using water is but my instinct says it will be a lot better than any mechanical system as they are generally very inefficient!
I’m going to preface this by saying, all I know is that know about the subject was one physics class in college… The teacher mentioned Hydro Pump Storage that pumps water into a reservoir when there is an excess of energy generation then releases it through turbines when there is a surge is energy needs on the grid. Wouldn’t this idea work in a very similar way? If so it would seem feasible as about 15% of the UKs STOR requirements are met in this way.
This one word made me laugh more than it had any right to.
Thanks! I’ll update the thread when I test it so there is a log for anyone else who may experience this issue.
That’s interesting, thank you, I’ll double check that too.
Extruder gears seem free, but I did just notice that the POM wheels on the x-gantry seem to have flat spots in them. This could be the cause so I’ve bought some new ones to test the theory.
I’ve not had any first layer issues, all have had good extrusion and adhesion. Nothing appears to be touching.
Could be, however. I’ve had the same issues with multiple filaments that I’ve used for over a year, however this has only been happening in the last month.
It has a Bigtreetech SKR mini E3 V3, but stock otherwise.
Yes to everything in the first sentence. It’s not consistent, maybe 1 in three come out perfect, then the others turn out badly.
Agreed. Give me the long lens/3 lenses on the mini form factor and that’s the sweet spot for me.
And those numbers could double as letters if you pressed them multiple times…
Now you can send memes back and forth forever
I guess I’ve been looking at it wrong the whole time! Although, living in the countryside would be preferable for moustache-rainwater
