Florisboard has decent swipe typing from what I remember, and should be available in F-droid.
EDIT: after checking, I see Floris has not been updated in two years on f-droid. :(
This is a summary from @[email protected]:
TL;DW:
This is a simplified version of simplified version.
Not everyone has the ability or spare time to become skilled in every field. Calling them lazy and illiterate for not learning a complicated thing (when they may already be learning some other complex subject) is kinda the definition of elitism.
Don’t be an elitist bung hole, dude.
At least the CCP is open to criticism and debate about their actions back then. If you go to Tiananmen today, you will see and hear a lot of discussion of this troubling time in China’s recent history.
Yes, that’s one of the CCP’s best qualities, to be sure. It’s so rare to see a government actively encourage their citizens to discuss such major events,
We have a community for this topic over at [email protected]
I’m sure they would love this if you cross posted ^^
Ahh, I didn’t notice that, bugger.
Drew DeVault created https://sourcehut.org/, which may be worth considering.

If it doesn’t have a design on it, you could dye it a dark color with some rit dye to hide the staining.
The part where he talks about it learning just like a human is when he is roleplaying a generic AI company CEO, then gives a solid counter argument from the perspective of a generic artist. What about that section leads you to believe he is advocating for that stance?
I don’t believe he’s advocating for that position, he’s attempting to illustrate the arguments either side on this debate make.
The crux of this video is that the creator of it didn’t have a firm stance on either side of that argument until, during one bout of generations, Bing produced an almost exact replica of the "Is this _____?"meme. It crossed the threshold of ‘inspiration’ into out-and-out copying, and he provides a theory as to how that happened.
Ultimately, he now feels uncomfortable using AI generations in any sort of commercial endeavor due to that risk of plagiarism, and the ethical concerns that raises.
Thank you for taking the time to write all this, I’ve been interested in immutable desktops for a while, and this was probably the best overview of them that I’ve seen to date!
If you’re talking about the two that I think you are, I agree. I suspect my pleasant experience is due to my instance defederating completely with those, which is pretty swank.
At least in the communities I’m subscribed to and interact with, I’ve still seen it mostly be positive interactions.
I’d be down for that, personally. I like the thickness of soy milk more, and according to this test, real vanilla is pretty overrated.
I’ve been finding it easier and easier to cut meat out with the help of soy curls, impossible meat, and finding a particularly good vegetarian cookbook (Horn of The Moon).
I’m always on the lookout to try new (to me) meat alternatives, and I’ve been really impressed with the options. I recently tried the meatless fish from trader joes, and holy crap are those good!
Interesting to read those linked GNOME issue threads, they’re really living up to their reputation… Looks like KDE is becoming the premier gaming DE, and I’m pretty happy with that.
Interesting aside for anyone interested; you can subscribe to her Peertube account with your Lemmy account by searching [email protected] in your instance’s search bar (or clicking that link). Then any video she uploads in the future will show up in your lemmy feed, and any comments you leave on lemmy should show up on the peertube video! :D
She had a (non-cancerous) brain tumor, which she did a few videos about treating. I hope that’s behind her forever as well. :(
