  • I use my deck more than my powerful laptop. Because I can use my PC instead of my laptop and dock my Steam Deck and work wherever I need, instead of my laptop.

Laptops don’t have their place for gaming anymore for most people now.

But my dream laptop came out named Starlite from Star Labs which is small, has a detachable keyboard, can code and write with an stylus and live up to 14h. Like a chromebook or tablet. So idk. Some people would probably still need a Laptop for Blender and stuff on the go.

Entirely wrong argumenrs against PC gamers. Maybe you mean hardcore Masterrace PC Gamers. There arent even a lot of them.

Most of the PC gamers just want the freedom I assume. The convinience of being able to play new random indie games online or AAA titles without needing to spend extra 30 bucks per month for luxus <replace console> internet access. Additionally you can choose your device like Steam Deck, Rog Ally, PC, Laptop or Cloud Gaming.

Like the Steam Deck, it only has 720p and I prefer to play on it over my WQHD monitor.

I dont get what you mean by narcisstic egocentrism?

It sounds more like you gaslight yourself for the capitalistism of watching TV and consume the ads. Idk whats true but I wonder what you mean.

  • I had issues with my Nvidia gpu and Wayland Desktops.

Especially with the new Steam Big Picture mode both Linux and Windows being laggy.

AMD on the other hand had one issue in Windows where my friend told me to reinstall the drivers because the second Monitor couldnt be detected at random times when rebooting.

On Linux on the other Hand… zero issues. Literally. I am satisfied how good it works compared to trashy Nvidia having constant issues. Even on Windows I had issues with Nvidia because you need to sign in and download the drivers. Sometimes there is an update and you never know, and wonder why your game doesnt work. Well, because you need the newest update suddenly. Not with AMD on Windows. And on Linux. You dont even need to install amything. Mostly preinstalled Mesa drivers but I am not that certain.
