Wait. Why is Reddit losing so much money?

Leadership makes bad decisions and is greedy and stupid. This isn’t complicated.

Its partly like that but its MORE so that they are utterly convinced that all thier troubles including that they are poor is some other groups fault, and even when they do have doubts they are unable to express them without fear of losing thier status in thier in-group. So they will keep on voting against thier own interests and blaming the wrong people for the results.

My grandparents imigrated with all 12 of thier kids (my aunts and uncles), you got a problem -lots of hand motions- wid that? Eh? Eh?

But seriously who started all this topping gatekeeping, pizza has spread all over the world with variations evrywhere.

I’m italian from a family so italian we’re all walking stereotypes, and pinapple+black olive is my favorate pizza combination.

No idea but wasn’t exactly thinking of tribes as society. More the overall whole of humanity. I wonder if we’ll ever achieve a world without hate (excluding exstinction).

Hate. Every iteration of society in history has normized hatred of some “other” and its bonkers.

My 1st thought is that we may need these minor fears to learn how to deal with fear itself and as part of developmemt they’ll likely just be a fraid of something different instead.

This really gave me a “Sid Meijer’s Pirates but in space” kind vibe. Ferry goods between ports (planets and station) shoot loot and take enemy ships work on a quest to find your lost family members save the galaxy its great.

How is it made? DuckDuckGo for Windows was built from the ground up by DuckDuckGo engineers with privacy, security, and simplicity front of mind. We are not forking Chromium (or anything else) and for web page rendering it calls the underlying operating system rendering API (in this case a Windows WebView2 call that utilizes the Blink rendering engine underneath). While this is the approach we’re taking now, that might change depending on the feedback we get from this round of testing. If there are changes to future versions, we will make that clear.

I’m actually less confident having read this…Isn’t webview2 exactly what edge and chrome do? I now regret opening my mouth.

On windows, theres been more than one, but they said their knew one is all new code by thier own engineers instead of yet another chromium descendant, and I hope to god thats actually true.

You know how nearly every browser is now based on chromium? And firefox when its not chromium, and even forefox adopted the extension limitations of chrome? Well I hear Duckduckgo’s new browser something new finally instead of based off an existing browser.

It doesn’t have extensions yet but those are coming and adblock is baked in.
