49 here, and I was always hopeful that I’d see us make it to another solar system in my lifetime. Another planet in our solar system would still be great, though!

Seeing this makes me happy.

My cyst on the back of my neck smelled like parmesan cheese when they cut it open.
Man, I love peanut butter. I could eat it out of the jar with a spoon. Sadly, I’m now allergic to peanuts.
It never tasted bitter to me. But I always got the brands with sugar and salt mixed into them.
I did, until the engine blew up. The smell never really went away.
A whey protein shake that I had left in my car in the summer in Georgia. It fermented and exploded in my car.
I deleted my Reddit account the other day. I’m all in.
Similar to “fan death” in Korea, where they think running a fan in your bedroom while you sleep can kill you.
My biggest pain point right now is the bugs. I tried posting a rather long reply to something and got a “Beehaw is down for maintenance” message. I’m not sure if it was the instance or my app (Connect), but I ended up losing the post.
Having said that, I really am enjoying my time here. People seem nice and welcoming, and engagement is good. I’m looking forward to seeing how things progress.
I think you will love Sharma’s books if you like Ottolenghi.
I use it at work for websites we use for work. Never for other things.
I have heard good things about DCSS. I tried playing on mobile, but it was difficult.
They’ve added a new class (the Duelist), which is pretty fun to play.
We go back to Jerusalem by Yotam Ottolenghi a lot. Also latley The Flavor Equation by Nik Sharma.
My first Android phone was my Motorola Cliq, which I got after my Blakcberry Pearl died. Good times with those phones.
Been using it since yesterday after I saw this post. I like it! Not sure if I’ll stick with this or Jerboa yet (or go to Sync when it’s ready for Lemmy).
That’s awesome!! There’s so many delicious banchan. My favorites were always kimchi and japchae, but almost all of them are good!
Kimchi can definitely get too sour for certain things! One thing I love to use super sour kimchi in is pork stew. We just take a pork butt or shoulder and cook it on low with a jar of super super kimchi. So good!
