I have many friends and family who have joined the Scottish Police and given years of their lives to serving their communities, risking their own lives and health. Should I say fuck them too?
I joined the police for six months before deciding it wasn’t the career for me and got back into charity work. Are you saying Fuck Me now or just for the six months I was in? Did my fuckery expire?
How can thousands, millions of people doing a job be reduced to such a binary sentiment.

I have used Day One for the last few months and moved over to Apple Journal now. D1 is much more full featured in teens of photo suggestions, and weather etc but the core elements are there for Apples version. It needs layout tweaks and customisation options (e.g I listen to a couple of playlists to fall asleep to and Journal is always recommending them as ‘what I’ve been listening to’ which isn’t wrong but it would be good if I could tell it to ignore it!)
In a couple of updates the evolved app should do the trick but it’s a wee bit interior to D1 at the moment. Hoping to be able to import from Day One soon.
Instructions unclear, pre-ordered Gold Super Premium Platinum Day One Explorer Edition and positive this will be the greatest game of all time

A valid point but I played about the same amount of CP then waited til it was all done three years later before doing another, much more thorough and patient playthrough. Have done a similar thing here and will wait a fair amount of time before diving back in.
I sunk about 50 hours in but have decided to wait for mods to make the game more as it should have been like I did with Cyberpunk though CDPR at least fixed it themselves without relying on the modders.
I am not going to pretend to be smart enough to understand any of it but I think it’s good news?
I would be keen to have solar panels or a solar array on my property but they are so damn expensive.

It would probably be separate purchases for iPad and Mac? If xcloud worked smoothly it would be ace for me but it just doesn’t at the moment.

Honestly you definitely did the right thing.
Yeah my wife was watching and was like ‘Yup, accurate.’
That and the Netrunner at the Afterlife saying ‘Good girl’ after returning a job made my skin crawl.
Personally I enjoyed the gameplay and found the writing to be so so with some really good moments and some awkward and awful ones (River hitting on a female V, I was with Judy and was frosty with him at every opportunity and he still went on as if I was leading him on. Like MF I could not have been clearer.)
Okay I agree with the idea of a rotten system as think that generally many legal or government institutions are rotten and self serving for the rich.
But the flaw in the argument from my perspective is that if all the decent people don’t go into the police, the ones with integrity, a moral compass who genuinely try to help people and do the right thing, then that leaves the bad apples.
So for going into a system and hoping to change it for the better, help/protect their community from criminals and the bad apples and make a real difference in lives, by that logic those people striving for better are still bastards and that just doesn’t feel right to me.
