As I usually say, playing day one is playing to the WORST version of the game 😅. I will still play it day one if I can complete my current games, but we have to keep this in mind when playing day one.
90’s kid, ici on parle principalement de JV récents (Nintendo & PC / Gamepass), de retrogaming, ainsi que de quelques (re)découvertes, que ça soit des films (surtout Disney / MCU) et d’autres choses au gré de mes envies ^^.

Haha that’s exactly when I got a good computer! I was a console guy until the release of the HTC Vive, and I kept it up to date until today. Only got a Switch for Nintendo games, and waiting patiently for the remaining exclusives to release on PC (but I spend half of my play time on retro games through emulation 😅).
Here is my secret: I don’t care if I miss something. It’s not a problem if you miss a side quest or intentionally skip something (especially if you don’t enjoy it, it’s an annoying side quest). Completing a game can be quite enjoyable, but as soon as it becomes a chore or you see it as a todo list, that’s where I personally back off.
For example in TOTK, I really enjoy my time just exploring here and here. I didn’t like the abyss at first so I played 30h+ hours before starting exploring it, and now that I feel more confident, I am passing most of my time there (that’s why I have played 70h+ hours with only one dungeon completed 😅). I knew about a 4th power, but I didn’t find it until very recently. I was enjoying my time with what I got, extrapolating about what it could be, but it was not a problem not to have it.
That’s exactly why I mainly play on PC nowadays. I didn’t like PC gaming 10-15 years ago, but now I love being able to play at 4K60 / 1440p60 by downgrading settings I don’t care.
I think this particular Zelda is especially focused on exploration (unlike the next ones until BOTW). There are many secrets everywhere, with a lot of hints given by the NPCs. When I did it for the first time 10 years ago, I had explored so much that I completed the 3 last dungeons in a raw.
If you don’t want to experience it this way, I guess you should follow a guide.
It happened! I was waiting for so long, I almost lost hope :p. Can’t wait to test it out :).
It’s nice to see stuff like this for the GameBoy :). I have to try this on my Analogue Pocket :).
I think so. With the end of Apollo, I have no other way to access Reddit except their mobile website or their app. I have the feeling it’s too late now, Apollo is unlikely to come back, regardless of what Reddit does. Now, I just hope kbin / lemmy will grow enough to become a good alternative (still learning how everything works ^^).
Very excited to play it on GBA :D. Surprisingly, it looks very close to the GBC game (which is one if not the most impressive game on GBC).
