Again, if it was propoganda I think it would be more incendiary. You’re free to go through the information if you wish, and there probably are some juicy secrets somewhere in the mess of files, but my spotcheck made me yawn. If you don’t want to live in a world with no truth, you have to start thinking about the intent of the author. If the intent of the author here was to plant misinformation, or to sow division, then they did a terrible job at it. What little I read gave me no interest in reading more.

A lot of them look legit, mostly because they are boring. I scanned a few, it’s stuff like the air force’s memo on how to deal with press, or a memo alleging a number of Russian cybersecurity attacks on U.S. assets.

If someone was going to fake releasing stuff like this, they probably wouldn’t do it with such boring documents, they’d put some shit about aliens in there.

  • Honestly, I love making friends with people who haven’t experienced some of the really incredible pieces of pop culture, because I get to see them react to seeing something incredible for the first time. Your reaction should never be "omg you’ve never seen this before, what kinda weird alien are you? and more “omg you’ve never seen this before? okay we have to watch it real soon, it’s incredible.”

It’s only really annoying if the person is some kinda incel who has made it a point of pride to be uncultured and refuses to watch or appreciate good movies/TV.

  • Hilariously, getting better for both of them. Pathfinder has a lot of third party developers already, and gained some after the big D&D debacle when Wizards tried to update the OGL and kill third-party. Linux is still slow going, especially on the gaming side, but a number of FOSS companies and Valve have done a lot of work to legitimize Linux as a personal computing platform.

  • It would show your ability to frame, your linework, depending on the scene your ability to demonstrate action…

It sounds like you have literally no concept of how animation works at an enterprise level. It often is several different people working on individual scenes that are then stitched together at the end.

  • Look I love Dark Souls; it is an incredibly flawed game, and Demon’s Souls is even moreso. Dark Souls was so far ahead of it’s time that it still needed time to bake in the oven. Then with how claustrophobic DS2 and DS3’s worlds were by comparison, I don’t think FromSoft really surpassed Skyrim until Elden Ring.

Both games are some of the greatest of all time though, so a lot of it will just come to preference. I think a lotta Dark Souls players have been spoiled by the remaster though, the original release struggled hard under the weight of Miyazaki’s ambition.

  • People in the future will realize that Skyrim was made in a perfect sweet spot at Bethesda. It was made recently enough that the controls make sense and it feels good to play, but Skyrim was still so, so ahead of it’s time when it came to an open world RPG. Back then, Bethesda’s writers really had a knack for making incredibly interesting settings, and just seeing an entire digital world so wonderfully realized was considered ground-breaking.

A decade later, and the same model has become stale. The gameplay is still there, but the soul is not. Idk if most of those old writers have just left Bethesda or retired after so many years in the industry, but the magic has left the studio. I’m not even really looking forward to ES6 as much as I am the upcoming Avowed from Obsidian, because their games still have plenty of soul.

  • Nah, if anything talk to plant is pretty weak. Poison Ivy can control plants, which is significantly stronger. Control plants let’s you force them to grow big and grapple people, or produce particular toxins in people’s faces, etc. Talk to plants lets you ask plants very politely to do something, but they are still just normal plants, and can just say no.
