Its always refreshing to look at the american political system if i am disappointed by the German one. Sure our sucks too, but at least we have more then 2 unvotable major parties.
Hate to break it to you, but no. I turned every option regarding cpu or ram overclocking off and it still won’t post stable. Doesn’t matter, i am a cs phd, so i pretty much start the system in the morning and shut it down before i go to bed, this way i just have to start it before getting coffee :)
I use linux, but can somewhat relate because i have a weird AM5 motherboard that shows 0-4 minutes of “DRAM ERROR” before posting
Same, tried to disconnect from services from big companies like instagram, reddit, twitter and whatsapp for a long time but this spring i quit twitter (for mastodon), in the summer instagram and whatsapp (for signal) and after the api changes reddit (for lemmy). I miss nothing of it.
Ruling Javascript and Python programmers out would be more sane imho. Java sucks, but at least its typed and doesn’t implement weird semantics.
On a modern computer dead code analysis with constant folding should be nearly unnoticeable when compiling a large project
“Augustus Gloop will not be harmed”
“Although we must admit, he will be altered quite a bit”
Old school Unix was great and FreeBSD
What? No! There are nu GNU libs, no Linux kernel but DOS! They use NTFS and do you know by what cruel abonimation of a process they load shared libraries?? Have you ever tried to compile anything besides java in that monstrosity or even properly install a compiler without loosing the complete grasp on reality?
Well that is a good point, but this assumes that the lever were so organized that everyone would stand as close to each other as possible. If you would distribute levers and humans with a certain amount of distance the effect would be intensely weakened.
No. The human population would completly stand at levers, leaving nobody to be kill
