Steam is not paying taxes in Vietnam, and they have no official employee in Vietnam, that serves as a contact person. The latter is required by law. E.g. Shops need to have a shield on their front, giving contact information, and communicate clearly who’s behind this shop (private person or company).
Thank you for sharing this article! This prevented me from working on projects and software. Not only FOSS projects should refrain from using Discord. Community-driven projects like Skywind are barring themselves from helping hands, they desperately need, by using proprietary, privacy-threatening software as their way of communication.

Hello, Audio Engineer with some little knowledge regarding AI here.
What you think of is restoring frequencies, this is possible, and commonly used in plugins for audio restaurization. I might be mistaken, but this does not improve the bitrate, but the perceived quality (which is still lossy).
I don’t think that there is a real interest to upscale quality (not perceived quality), especially for longer (> 1 minute) material.
I really digged Dungeonborne and Indika. Also, Duck Detective and Diceomancer went to my wishlist.
Found it in the store easily.
Like @NaN mentioned: Some apps detect, that they’re not running on a licensed OS and block some or all functionality.
I’m not using any payment apps, as I’m trying to mostly pay in cash or by card. Only using NFC for my passport.
I’m not using it for anything like that, mostly for using my passport for digital services.
I’m on GrapheneOS since a few years now, started out with a second-hand Pixel 3A, moved to a Pixel 6, and am now on a Pixel 8 Pro.
GrapheneOS works great for my needs, and the sandboxed Google Play feature comes in handy if you really need to use an infested app, on another profile.
NFC works for me though, without an issue.

Yep, I’ve got confused, excuse me!
You could have disabled those animations easily in the settings. The settings offer a lot of different QoL-features Zero Dawn was missing.
I was waiting for the F-Droid release of the calendar. The switch is as easy as you can imagine: Export your settings from SimpleCalendar and import them into FossifyCalendar – that’s it.
Yeah, it has its flaws, yet it is still under development. I’m not sure what to think of the idea of renaming the game though, Fruity Game is such a wonderful name!
Lost over an hour of my life because of Fruity Game. Amazing game :D
Yes, lovely game design.
Need to dig into the latest update, as the patch notes state
- Improved Mango
I got so stuck on Fruity Game for over an hour, before I could even get up off toilet. :'-)
How: Bumpy. Now I found a way to participate by translating and writing documentary, as most projects are lacking proper.
What: My interest in pursuing a more data-private life.
Why did you measure inside the cabinet? Don’t you want to dampen the perceived noise outside of the cabinet?
Physically speaking, 3 cm will absorb all frequencies above 12000 Hz, and dampen everything beneath at least a bit, ignoring the absorption capatbilities of the material. I’m no expert in the field of material sciences, I just know by word and experience (insert “trust me bro” here) that its absortion capabilities are really good.
It will lessen the perceived sound by a measure, but do not believe, that all sound will be gone. But a 3 cm-thick paddening all around will to a good job.
Think twice about glueing. Glue is nasty to remove, maybe just push cut-to-size pieces inside of the ducts to make them fit? You could make ones, which you make snug around the cables leaving the cabinet?
No, read that on r/steam from a vietnamese user, and it’s my first-hand experience regarding Germany. Still, might be wrong. But people tend to jump on South-east Asian (SEA)-countries, smelling suppression, and malintent, when often it’s common law, even in western countries, but newly enforced in SEA countries
