because no one wants to track me.
I get you’re just joking here but I would like to point out that this is a flawed way of thinking. Someone will spite you for whatever reason they can think of and will try to ruin your life whether its because of your political beliefs or just because of who you are as a person, cause sadly thats the internet right now
I’ll throw in my two cents; Whitelight.
His bio describes his channel perfectly, “the dark souls of game media.”
Goes super in depth reviewing games, such as how they’re structured, and somehow keeps me entertained throughout
Not sure if this will help, but find my device on F-Droid is awesome. You can use generic SMS and send “fmd locate” or you can use third party apps such as signal. This makes it so it’ll only trigger whenever you receive that text message rather it running 24/7
It allows you to setup a trusted set of contacts who can then send you a text message “fmd locate”, and it’ll reply with an openstreetmaps link showing where you are. It’s not real time tho
And you can disable it simply by turning off your location
When I was 13 and still watching LTT I had an extremely old dell optiplex with a 3rd or 4th gen i7 that was really starting to slow down on Windows; I just thought it was old hardware (partially true) but then LTT released a video about Pop_OS and was like “oo what’s Linux” and just deleted Windows and installed it. Never looked back! Everything was super snappy and I was really shocked.
yeah, Linux is a kernel, not an OS, build whatever you want onto it.
you guys have thoughts?
Bazzite is my first true experience with an immutable distro, and wow, what a magical moment it was.
I’ve been eyeing on fedora 40’s release for some time now because it fixes all the Wayland problems for Nvidia cards. One night my grandma needed some help, so I walked away from my PC, it automatically suspended, came back 30 or so minutes later, and when I logged in I was just automatically on KDE 6 with fedora 40, didn’t even reboot.
This is truly the year of the Linux desktop.
still waiting on when they add EAC to Rocket League randomly without proton support
purism is literally a scam company and shouldn’t be promoted
blah! Android forks!
postmarket os is where it’s at!
or Ubuntu Touch if you’re… that type of person.
I hope moving forward, EVs will be regulated and have modular parts, and can still be user repairable, unlike (most) smartphones.
I don’t want them to have that “vendor lock in” that Apple and Samsung are famous for, component wise.

we anticipate that the kernel, d-i and images teams will cease to support i386 in the near future.
I don’t think it’s fair to jump on Microsoft for this one. Windows 10 has been out for almost 10 years. Apple gives less support for systems than 10 years, they are closer to 8, which is still a while.
it is absolutely fair to blame Microsoft, because they promised their customers, device manufacturers, and even businesses that Windows 10 was going to be their last OS, and flipped that switch out of nowhere when they realized they could be making more money.
Windows 12 supposedly going to be subscription based I feel like is a great example.
They allow you to use a link instead for saving settings, which can also be used to set as your default search engine
