Would love if there was open source software hard budgeted in there on an EU level…

Yeah for someone to change their whole viewpoint takes time.
Imagine if someone was gonna try to argue that your opinion on a recent conflict is wrong. Obv if it’s that confronting you’re gone disregard that. But if he says something about it every once in a while you start to think more about and then you learn and grow. Because either you come to the conclusion your standpoint is really short sighted, or you at least appreciate their perspective.
And let me be clear: whatever you learn, it will be a good thing, because the more perspective, the more experience.
I have a friend who votes for trump and we clash heads a lot about politics, but I know I will learn so much about his viewpoint it is worth it to a certain degree, and I’m not gonna try to “convince” him, because I want him to critically think about his opinions and learn what he needs to from my perspective.
If you wanna fight racism for example, be a living example about how stupid it is and how nice it feels to know you can judge people by what they do and not what they look like. Don’t talk about, just be clear whenever the topic comes up.
RVC. But for models you have to search yourself.

100% agree.
The best thing you can do is be nice to them and ignore passive aggression. Some ppl are not nice because they are scared and being defensive helps them, some are assholes, some are confused. Whatever it is, killing them with kindness actually works on a lot of people. The more you do it, the more people realize you are not faking your personality but this is just who you are, and they become more familiar with you.
If people don’t react to your greetings, just walk as if they don’t deserve your kindness, because it’s true. Maybe someday they will.
That, the target audience and the overall production size as well.
I think it’s more than that. For some people their mom is their hero for taking care of them and they have a special love for her. Now if someone sleeps with my mom just to brag, the insult is that they did it just to brag about it and I am supposed to be angry because I know it wasn’t genuinely someone who loves her.
My favorite series rn
This means we entered a new era. I like this era.
You wouldn’t disappoint a paper.
And you wouldn’t download a car.
Famous enough that there’s a steady fan base listening to my music (a thousand people internationally sounds great to me) but nothing more than that. I want that genuine fandom, where people actually enjoy being in a niche and no one stalks you and generally people don’t know you wherever you go.
Not even for the money, but just to feel appreciated and to know I have a positive impact on people, that’s all I want.
If it’s only the two extremes? Yeah I’m totally cool with a quiet life.
Fucking hell man I hope your brain spared you all of the PTSD quirks after that…
Lol
There’s plenty of people who want that sort of discussion on Lemmy.
Btw there’s legit uses for the “dark web”. Getting crucial drugs that are illegal (e.g. opioids against PTSD, maybe even abortion drugs soon), communication channels for politically targeted people and more.
And obviously especially when it is so co controversial, that is even more of a reason for a public discussion forum about it. Lemmy is all about different perspectives, so that fits perfectly.
Straight banger
Loved what the hell by her
I get sick in cars and busses, my parents have driver’s licenses but they hate to drive so they avoid it, and I don’t have the time, the money, or the need to get one. I live in a big city too so I can safely rely on trains.
Btw even if I’d get one, it’s usually on the off chance that I need it and I’d still try to actively avoid driving whenever possible.
That’s like 10% racist and I don’t know how to explain why
I would add that it’s way more efficient because Google doesn’t have everyone using it mistyping all at once. So they can save up CPU cycles until they need them.
