Romance of the Three Kingdoms is exactly what I was going to suggest.
Playing Dark Souls with one as melee and the other as a magic user is pretty much like this.
The tragedy here is that you had to make a screenshot to then upload to Mastodon, only later to come here and have to point out where the original post is. It would be great if you could have made the post on Mastodon simply by linking to the original post and then the format would have looked just as good as the screenshot, and then both sides of the Fediverse could converse. Or, the opposite could happen.
I’ve talked about this kind of thing before https://lemm.ee/post/4955936 and some are confident this is how things will eventually end up, so I hope they’re right.
I always liked the idea of Vancian magic when I played earlier editions, with the concept that part of the toll magic casing takes erases part of your memory, but functionally it was cumbersome. It was definitely time to move on to something more flexible.
Yep! Imagine Dragons is also kind of Mormon, but has very much butt heads with the church on their LGBTQ stance.
Yeah, even though I went on a mission and have tons of family from Utah/AZ/Nevada/Cali, I’m on the East Coast so a lot of LDS culture like that didn’t sink in. I would honestly probably participate in ex-mo stuff more if I had to deal with it on a daily basis, but I’m fine mostly pretending it doesn’t exist!
Exmormon here, going on 20 years now. Don’t miss pretty much anything from it except some of the music. Ignore the Republican-looking motherfuckers here and enjoy this: https://youtu.be/WwYm_mKQ3Gs

I literally walked into this place last year to check it out, saw what was on tap and had to turn around and walk out (the strong ale or witbier even wasn’t even there). It was IPAs all the way down.
If diarrhea is so great, why did they never make a diarrhea 2?

I am a mod (and main poster) at c/castles and include an OSM link with all my posts.
Thanks, dogg. I was able to read it just fine, but I appreciate the engagement.
Careful. Mangoes have the same allergenic oil as poison ivy: https://medium.com/a-microbiome-scientist-at-large/the-surprising-link-between-mango-and-poison-ivy-88ea9655b626
I learned this the hard way when I basically ate one like in the image :(
@[email protected] linked to the source, looks like there’s no way at the moment. Let’s hope that changes soonish.
Ah thanks, that does look very much on the crawl side of crawl-walk-run. Hopefully the devs understand the urgency of discoverability.
I agree that not many sites will ever again fumble and fuck it up as large as Digg did.
Sure, but here’s the thing. If we all just moved to another centralized system, we’d just be setting the timer for the next heartbreak. It’s a matter of when, not if.
Lemmy’s growth will be slow. It may even stagnate. But, unlike Orkut, Friendster, Google+, etc. it can’t be taken away from us. lemmy.ml might even shut down, but the Fediverse will always be here in one form or another.
Colorblind here: Never!
