OR just do some grappling, it’s really a lot of fun and just great overall.
But if you just want to fake being a martial artist I recommend just buying a black belt and wearing it everywhere. It’s just as stupid, but cheaper and less painful. Or maybe instead of elf ears you can buy cosplay cauliflower ears to wear…🙄
Does this then also work for the media buttons? Then maybe I should try to rebase…
I know about those “workarounds”, but it’s ridiculous that the regular UI (including media buttons!) is more or less useless 🙂
Did you get your audio volume fixed? My ThinkPad is so quiet on Linux (Silverblue) that it’s hard to use it for anything with media.
When regulators make this reasonable. A lot of OEMs are interested in FOSS, but liability makes it hard - especially for safety critical domains.
Which at least in Germany should lead to failing vehicle inspections.
Doubtful. Android automotive OS runs on a single ECU in the car while a lot more are in there running QNX, Linux or some embedded OSes (sometimes there are more than 100 such ECUs in the car). So there’s no guarantee that the “problematic” services are even running on this ECU (I bet it’s more distributed). Furthermore updating / changing the software of a single ECU is done using special hardware or through some kind of gateway ECU. They will perform validation on the to-be-flashed software to ensure it’s from the vendor itself.
And even if you’d get it flashed I can guarantee you that nothing will work.
Many communities exist, but mostly on paper.
What I haven’t found yet is something substantial and informative like /r/askhistorians.
Seems like the whole article can be condensed to “Dragging and dropping text does what you expect. Dragging and dropping directories/files will insert the absolute path”.
And that’s why it’s so important that that is not undermined: https://techcrunch.com/2023/04/18/in-letter-to-european-commission-open-source-bodies-say-cyber-resilience-act-could-have-chilling-effect-on-software-development/
I do have small kids and thus not a lot of time for myself. The time I do have I spend on martial arts, kettlebells, learning to play the guitar or just hanging on the couch reading and trying not to fall asleep. If the kids are awake I’m mostly doing stuff with them like playing with Lego, role playing or whatever they feel like in the moment.
As far as I know the exceptions are only for personal use (whatever that means)
Tried to climb out of a large two-wheeled paper bin which tipped over causing my head to hit the edge of a brick wall. Fortunately I wore a bicycle helmet because I wanted to go for a ride so only was unconscious for a while, had a concussion and a deep cut under my chin from the strap of the helmet.
Can’t really contribute as in Germany most pharmacy signs are pretty static and look kind of like this: https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2014/06/30/20/59/pharmacy-380780_640.jpg
But I also wonder why there’s so many pharmacies in France. In almost any city I’ve been to it’s hard to not have a green flashing cross in sight.
