I do have Libreboot on all my computers, my T1700 MT is currently Librebooted, that’s the server I’m planning on using this card with. I wonder, since the firmware is nearly entirely open, we can possibly support it then, no?

Yeah, she’s gone lol, I mean I’m 20 and she was 29 with a 9 year old kid and that’s not really what I want in a relationship. But oh my god she was easily the most attractive girl I’ve ever talked to, both in terms of looks and personality.

See, that’s where I fucked up. My dumbass texted her at 12AM and asked if she wanted to hang out the next day (She’s usually up around that time, we both goto the gym around 11PM, which is why I thought it was okay). But we had only talked around 4-5 times, each conversation we had was good, but when it comes to texting, I fail miserably there. I think I just got too excited to meet her, and was a bit too forward. I completely messed up. Well, now I know not to do that again at least, lesson learned :(

We shouldn’t be mixing FOSS projects with proprietary communication platforms. There are a lot of FOSS enthusiasts who want their setup to be entirely free and open, including Discord into the mix basically goes against the whole philosophy.

I want to clarify that the patch I submitted was a work in progress. On two separate occasions, I sought guidance regarding when to submit it and was instructed to wait for a week. The understanding was that Leah and I would continue working on it during the following week. Unfortunately, the patch got accidentally closed during that waiting period.

My communication was bad and I understand that I need to do better. The comment Leah made about being ‘too slow’ contradicts the circumstances, as I followed the guidance to wait for input during the specified timeframe.

Initially, I had asked in a neutral manner, but as I observed dismissiveness, a sense of frustration arose. This prompted me to seek resolution by sharing my concerns here two days after we had tried to talk this out.

It’s important to clarify that I only brought up this issue twice this week, not throughout the entire week, as Leah mentioned. Leah stated that I harassed them for a week, which is inaccurate, as I only brought up this issue with them on two occasions. I felt frustrated with the dismissive responses. I believe that the effort I invested deserves a fair evaluation and acknowledgment in the context of the project’s collaboration. Moreover, it’s worth noting that this patch had implications beyond supporting just one board; it contributed to the addition of several desktop boards.

They stole the credit for the port though, I already had my own functioning patch but I was told to wait a week twice. So I did, and my patch was closed off ‘accidently’ and they submitted the patch themselves, after making me wait for no reason. This gave them enough time to do it themselves and remove my name from ever being there.

I mean, them telling me to wait a week just so they can close off my patch and take most of the credit? I think that’s wrong.

My credit was stolen though, they closed off my patch after telling me to wait and they’re basically I don’t deserve any credit because I took too long, when the reality is that they’re the ones who kept me waiting.

Yes, but I was told to wait a week, and then once I waited they added it themselves. Which I think is wrong because telling me to wait just allowed them to commit there own patch before I was able to.

They took the port that I was making for this board, they told me to wait a week, and then closed off my patch and took all the credit. The OG patch that I made was a WIP, we were looking over it to see what was wrong and I noted down what was wrong and fixed it in my next patch, which never got submitted because they told me to wait a week. They recreated the patch that I made from scratch once they got their hands on the board and submitted it.

Yes, but the patch that I made after that didn’t go through because they closed off my original patch. I don’t think I have a bruised ego for just wanting proper credit. How are you going to tell me its okay for someone to just make someone wait a week, close off their patch, and take all the credit? This was intentional from Leah and it’s pretty obvious. I do care about the project and open computing, the only reason I said I wanted this to go on my resume is because I literally have no job and am looking for a career in IT.

Leah rewrote it after making me wait two weeks. I got it to work on my own independtly, they just kept making me wait until they got hands on the board and did it themselves.
