For those of us outside the US/North America, what is this flux price Wendy’s thing?
For those of us outside the US/North America, what is this flux price Wendy’s thing?
Any real-life example of anyone doing this?

Some instances don’t have any checks or barriers for signing up, so the bots can just get accounts from these kind of instances and keep spamming.
It was already discussed in a post here, lrt me see if I can find it
Ship it to Berlin and I’ll bring it when I go home for xmas. No really, Im sure you know someone in EU
Yes you can do this, you can use ANY device/node as an exit-node among your tailscale nodes.
You do need a server to setup the nodes though. Tailscale offer this as a paid service I believe, or you could run your own headscale (open source project) server yourself, this requires a lot more knowledge
Exactly what I was looking for xD
I’m looking for the same thing
My friend and I run most things in kubernetes (k3s), and then we use longhorn to backup volumes, which then can be re-used if your cluster crashes. Here’s a blog post describing the process (although not for nextcloud specifically, it could be applied to Nextcloud as well, as we do this for nextcloud as well)
Actually sounds really cool, why not
Jupiter Broadcasting has nice Linux and FOSS-related podcasts. Most recently with an episode about Red Hat and their decisions.
Yes, I just used it to send my first ‘Anzeige’ this week. Read our other comments here regarding how many cases are actually followed up, we don’t really know.
But cities like Berlin seem to be somewhat positive
What version are you currently using?
I think the app is getting better with every update, and the latest version 0.0.35 is quite good.
Remember that the app is still in an development stage.
And the project has over 600 000 cases reported, it has to be noticed
Sadly we can not really say. According to the weg.li FAQs, it is not really known how many of the offences lead to fines or other punishment, as the authorities in charge of dealing with the proceedings give out no or very little information on the cases.
Some places will notify that a case is processed, but the authorities are not allowed to say more about how individual cases are handled.
The mention ‘Percentage of privately brought up cases ending with a fine paid’ in Berlin being over 50%, but I could not really find any other source for this number.
edit: they/the typo
Here in Germany there are some initiatives to get cars out of bike lanes by simplifying the process of notifying the authorities.
weg.li offers such a service by allowing you to upload pictures, time and place, and it will do the rest for you. It requires you to leave your name and contact details, since the police might need to contact you
I live on a bicycle street (legally means bikes have right of way, but not much more than that), but every morning at 08:00, there are a few, but enough parents that drive their kids to school, that it creates dangerous situations. Some schools here in the city even ban parents from dropping kids off by car, close to schools.
