Imagine being immortal (no other powers) and falling into that
Knowing you’ll never get out

One person saying “they copied us” does not make it objectively so.
There are plenty of songs in Muse’s discography that have no Radiohead equivalent (and vice-versa).
I just learned about https://neocities.org/, seems up your alley
They are the same in regard to number of people. Each is one person counting for alcohol consumption.
Previous person was comparing volume. So the 6 beers would be way more than one shot. My suggestion was to eliminate that noise from the data.
I suspect it’s the data they happened to find first.
I’d compare number of people who make a conscious choice to indulge in them. Someone who grabs 6 beers in one evening counts the same as someone who does 1 shot of tequila.
Playing devil’s advocate here, second-hand smoke is real and harmful, so by your logic cigarettes should be banned
It is my favorite as well (1% for me), and I think dairy is a fairly popular preference.
One thing that comes close, in my opinion, is a 50/50 mix of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and chocolate almond milk. That stuff’s delightful.
The mess can be mitigated if you’re selective about where it’s done.
I don’t think there’s a difference in regard to the humane value, whether you shoot someone in a lab vs hanging over a bridge railing.
You can blame whoever you want, but it’d be you pulling the trigger, and the whole world paying the price.
Your response to the killing of innocents is to kill more innocents, somewhere else?
You think Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran etc are populated entirely with “bad guys” and there aren’t any struggling families, honest workers, small businesses, schoolkids etc, not to mention tourists from other countries?
What is your “real sugar” control group? Henry Weinhard’s or Hansen’s or similar?
I’m a liberal who knows some leftists, so maybe I can reframe some of these so they make some sense.
Most leftists are not vegetarians. A leftist is more likely to suggest buying locally-sourced, humanely-raised meat sources, and balancing your diet such that meat is still included, but not necessarily the focus of every meal.
On boring cars: a car does not need to be huge or rev very loud to be exciting. On this point, economics and environmentalism actually agree; getting a car with good gas mileage is not only good for the environment, but cheaper over the car’s lifespan. You can make your car more exciting with a neat color paint job, decals, seat covers, custom rims etc.
On kids: I know leftists with kids. The idea isn’t to have 0 children, it’s to only have as many as you actually want. Families like to coerce couples into having kids. Don’t feel like you have to listen! If you would rather use your income for vacations, go for it. Only have kids if raising kids is what you want to do with your next 20 years of life.
The rest of those things you listed are unfamiliar to me. Can you point me to the organization suggesting them?
Tell me you only buy low-quality confections without telling me you only buy low-quality confections.
Buy yourself one of these: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81+PzvS1KpS._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg
Then here’s the trick: only eat a small piece at a time, like 1 square inch. Savor it. Don’t immediately follow it with anything. Let the flavor completely leave your mouth on its own before you have anything else.
You like them less now because you’re watching the “remastered” versions, which butcher the originals.
I haven’t tried that kind, but maybe you got a bad jar. I absolutely love peanut butter. I usually get Adams no-stir creamy. It amplifies oatmeal, milkshakes etc. I would absolutely put it in a crepe too, with banana and chocolate.
The fact that there are 3 entities called Fox, and they’re not all owned by the same company, is bizarre.
