Does Omnivore support page turning?

I use Pocket on an e-ink tablet, so page-turning is preferable to scrolling. But Pocket got rid of page-turning in its recent update, so I’m on the hunt for a replacement.

Wallabag has a similar function (tap-to-scroll) but I don’t like their fonts.

I’ve almost entirely dropped reddit for Lemmy. I still go back to reddit for tech support and some niche communities that haven’t made the jump yet. But I’d guess that my reddit usage is down 90% YOY.

Anyway, I’m trying to decide what to watch next. Can you help me pick between these: -Waiting for Guffman -Bend It Like Beckham -Julius Caesar -Chasing Amy -Rebecca -Harvey

I was disappointed with this film, and I don’t think Nolan is the right person to tell this story. Nolan is so wrapped up in the Great Man theory of history that he’s incapable of telling a story about the actual social impact of the bomb. Did it kill nearly a million people? Sure, but let me tell you about this guy’s personal loss and his feelings(!). Nolan is happy to grapple with the bomb as possibly immoral, maybe, but the only person in this movie who gets depicted as a victim is Oppenheimer. And a victim of racism no less!

(I also find it funny that a film about communist scientists has scenes in fancy hotels, because Christopher Nolan can NOT make a movie without a posh hotel. The guy is just so enamored with wealth and whiteness.)

Honestly, if you want to watch a great movie about the A bomb, check out Barefoot Gen.

And if you want to watch a good movie about state-sponsored killers living with regret, watch Munich.

Skip Oppenheimer.

I use the Fossil Collider HR with Gadgetbridge and it’s pretty great. Three are some downsides though:

• The set-up is a little bit of a hassle. You need to get the Collider’s secret key, and that requires installing a jailbroken version of the Fossil app
• Any changes you want to make to the watch display have to be made in the Fossil app, which means you have to install that app and do a bit of a runaround whenever you want to change something

But aside from that, it’s been a good year with my Collider HR and Gadgetbridge

Yeah, IMHO (which is posted here, on a FOSS platform sustained by donations), I kinda think there’s a way to make this work
