I guess these results count for something, however Madison’s allegations have been really consistent and more importantly, were quietly published months before without any drama.

Believing the big corporation with drastically more leverage on this situation would be stupid, so they aren’t 100% cleared for me. Something definitely happened with Madison, but likely for lack of records and evidence it wasn’t confirmed.

Complete radio silence isn’t helping their case, specially when all they’ve done to address it is in a few sentences.

This isn’t a court trial tbh, and what has come forth from Modison’s side (testimonies, recording, consistency) is more than enough for me to put the ball entirely on LMG’s side.

No reason to keep giving businesses the benefit of the doubt when in many cases they have every advantage over the situation.

Sounds convincing, however businesses don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. For me to trust and support this content again, the investigation of the allegations needs to produce conclusive evidence. The whole quality drama passed to the background after Madison showed up what really went inside LMG

Either LMG admits wrongdoing and dishes out consequences to those involved, or they present verifiable and damning evidence showing no abuse occurred. Unlike bootlickers at reddit and ltt forums, I don’t side with businesses against people. If you live in this world and not in your mom’s basement you’d understand why.

If LMG comes out with “we found nothing,” “no conclusions could be made,” or something along those lines without evidence, then fuck them. Not good enough.

And the turnover rate is at best a shaky argument, One can argue since it’s mostly guys, they’re not gonna be at the same situation to be bullied, insulted and sexually harassed until leaving. It doesn’t seem the culture will be fixed anytime soon, so I’m just gonna stop wasting more time with it.

I’m all for this community to shitpost LMG, after all what’s the point of it given their recent fuck up? LMG themselves destroyed their community if anything. Also fuck their screwdriver, it’s $60 and you’re not even ensuring that it’s ethically made by paying such a premium. Employees self-harming to get a day off sounds like something happening at a Chinese factory making $10 screwdrivers, not $60. So fuck them twice.

From what I know the kid had a YT channel, and their parent bought a silver YT play button from the NCIX auction years ago. Linus wanted the button back and they refused. Basement dwellers and bootlickers then proceeded to harass the kid in every way possible contributing to their suicide (and their parent’s suicide).

Also fuck LMG’s “investigation.” Seems like just some diversion that will result in “we found no evidence of anything” and to say they did something. Typical corporate BS.

Everything Madison said has been corroborated by another ex-employee, it aligns with her glassdoor review of last year, aligns with other anonymous employee coming forward exposing LMG’s toxic culture, and it’s supported by other bits and pieces of recordings. None of these parties are profiting by coming forward, on the contrary they are exposing themselves to the cult that is LMG’s fanbase (which drove a kid and his mom to suicide before).

Unless LMG comes up with damning evidence proving everything wrong then anyone with half a brain will see through their bullshit.

This is fucking awful, I’m actually shocked, and with other leaked testimonies from other former employees I don’t think any of this is false. She doesn’t have anything to profit from this. I’m glad my adblock has always been on and I use invidious because I would have felt sick knowing I supported these assholes at LTT. Anyways I unsubbed from anything LTT and won’t watch any more of their garbage.

TL;DW: GN called out LMG for notoriously sloppy content recently, which is caused by LMG top management imposing high weekly video quotas. LMG team is also not happy with these deadlines and have said before it leads to rushed content.

Then LMG also did a big fuck up with a Billet Labs (small company) prototype water block. The company sent them a review prototype for a 3090ti monoblock, but LMG knowingly gave no fucks and tested it on a 4090. When it obviously didn’t work as expected LMG just shat on the product and gave a bad review. Not only that, they ignored requests to return the prototype, and their negligence went as far as them auctioning the engineering prototype at LTX.

There’s more incidents (like shitting on a mouse before properly unpacking it first, poor correction for mistakes, several inaccuracies in each video, etc) but you’ll be better off watching the video, it’s good.

Linus has responded, but he just dug a deeper grave after GN tore apart his shitty reply on their newest video.

This also isn’t the “gotcha” LMG tried to make it seem at the intro in their response. They basically said “GN didn’t get our side of the story so they are making us bad, they didn’t know we repaid Billet Labs!”

It’s inexcusable how they tested, handled, and then auctioned the block, doesn’t matter that they agreed something at the end, what GN said still stands.

The most noticeable thing for me are the constant annotations. Sometimes there are so many that I’m not sure why a whole video is up if it’s half assed and they want to salvage it through bandaids.

Bot holy shit they are become sloppy and borderline corrupt. Thanks to GN for calling them out.
